"Not all of them. It's more a case of bumping into them here and there."
"I see," said Alex, "Well, some of them promised to drop in sometime. If you'd like to get to know them personally, feel free to come by then. For now, let's have some fun."
"All right. What shall we do?"
"We could watch a movie," Sam suggested.
"How about something like Labyrinth?"
"Sounds good to me," said Clover, "By the way, how did Sony con you into being in The Emoji Movie? That's something I'd really like to know."
"I just assumed the script would be better than it was. I never saw the whole thing. It may have been awful, but was it really Worst Picture of the year?"
(I forced myself to endure the whole thing. It WAS.)
"Oh, yeah," Sam asserted, "We watched it just to have a laugh and poke fun at it. But even then, it was a chore to sit through. Believe me; it fully deserved to be the first animated movie to 'win' Worst Picture at the Razzies." |
"I would've thought it would go more to something like The Book of Henry or The Snowman. The latter of which is by all accounts an incomplete film."
"I can understand your argument," said Sam, "But both of those were just typical 'campy, cheesy' bad. The Emoji Movie, on the other hand, was 'feature-length cliched shameless advertisement' bad."
