Matt didn't register her wetting either, her laughter and squirms made it impossible to hear that tiny noise, and her puffy diaper cover and the romper also hid her expanding nappy, which would hold it anyway without a problem. He would check her regularly, so eventually it would be found out.
What was more important, was the fact that she indeed had no idea what restraint meant, probably in more ways than one. One meaning was definitely going to be revealed to her now.

- Sort of. - he nodded. - But stricter than that. You won't be able to move much at all. Like when you were in the car seat. You won't be able to use your hands either, and you will stay like that for as long as I think you need to in order to learn your lesson. - he explained, wondering if Eris understood.

Eris thought back to sitting in the car seat.
"I liked looking out of the window." she commented. That was different than being locked in her room where all she could state at were four lilac walls with a fish and paw print border motif. Although she hadn't been able to move when she'd been in the car seat. All she had been able to do was turn her head and look around or kick her legs and wave her arms.

"Why won't I be able to move my hands?“ she ask curiously," will they be restrained?... Like a car seat? “

- Sort of, but different in some ways. - Matt replied, but as Eris continued, it became clear that her concept was so vague, it demanded a demonstration. - I'll put these on you now so you get the idea, and then take them off when you ask to be let out, but only this time. - he explained, and then proceeded to first lock the mittens onto Eris' hands, then the booties onto her feet, and after that, put the harness over her romper, adjusting the straps to be snug but not too tight. As a finishing touch, he then locked her arms to her sides using the upper arm cuffs sewn onto the chest strap, and clipped her mittens to the D-rings on each side of the waist strap, then locked her booties together to complete the immobilization, and gently picked the bundled up kitten in his arms and sat down, placing her on his lap.
- This is what I meant, and you will stay like this if you can't behave like a good little girl. You can't really move at all now, can you? - he asked, but he was ready to let her out this time if she asked.

To Eris the process was similar to being dressed by one of the nursery attendants in mittens and booties for outside play on a cold day. Of course once things started to strap and lock she realised she was experiencing something quite different.

At first Eris laughed, delighted by the noval sensation of being pick up as if she was burrito and laying across Matt's lap with her padded bottom nestles bewteen his legs. She flexed her legs up and down as a pair, as though she had a mermaids tail and the tried to sit up right but this was impossible for her to do without her arms to prop herself up with as she didn't have enough core body strength.

"I can't really move." she agreed with Matt's statement.

Wriggling around was fun for a little while but she couldn't sit the way she wanted to. She could look where she wanted to. She couldn't reach for or grasp anything. She couldn't walk. If Matt set her on the floor she wouldn't even be able to crmwtal away, she would have the squirm on her belly like a worm.

"I don't wanna be restrained anymore. I wanna be a good girl." she whined.

Matt was gentle all the way while he applied the restraints, nothing was too tight, nothing was hurting, but in the end, Eris was still bundled up and helpless, which was part of the reason why he placed her so close, so she couldn't wiggle off, fall and hit herself.

- No, you really can't. - he nodded in agreement as she finally figured out the point squirming around, but let the helplessness set in, and watched as her curiosity about this new sensation slowly gave way to discomfort.
And at last, she arrived to the point where she wanted out, and she voiced it.

- Because this time it was only for show, I'll let you out of them. - he replied, and started with removing her booties, freeing her feet but still having her upper body and arms trapped. Matt then helped her to her feet as she could stand and walk now at least, and attached a leash to the back of her harness.

- Now, there's something important. Every time we want to leave this house and go outside that big fence you can see from the window, you'll have to wear these, otherwise you're not allowed outside and even I will be punished and you'll be taken away from me, and locked in a cage. Do you understand, Eris? - he asked, and waited until at least a nod was given, before he proceeded to completely free her from the harness and take her mittens off.

If the little kitten endured the whole procedure without more whining, he even gave her a kiss on the forehead and pet her on the head some as a reward.
