Salem smiled softly. "I love you Neo." she whispered.

Instead of responding Neo just gave her mommy a peck on the lips and layed on her shoulder. Clinging to her tightly.

The affectionate way Neo silently replied to her left Salem briefly speechless. All she could do was hold the girl to herself.

Neo closed her eyes and nuzzled Neo's shoulder as they let time pass and soon it was almost time for one of Salem's meetings

Salem couldn't rightly bring her baby girl into meetings involving world domination. She set Neo down. "Play by yourself for now. I have to attend to business, and when I'm done, I'll come back to spend time with you." she told the girl, starting to walk to the meeting room.

She pouted sadly but nodded and cuddled her dolly and blew a kiss to her mommy.

Salem hated to leave Neo, even for the brief time she would need to order her loyal followers. She took a brief moment to harden her heart long enough to manage that before striding into the meeting hall and taking her seat.

Most of her followers are arriving. Cinder is still recovering in another room. In fact Neo wonders if she would play with her and gets a sadistic grin. Does she harbor some bad feelings towards Cinder for dragging her late boss into a fatal mess? Nooooooo. Maybe. Yes.

Cinder was well enough be up and moving at the moment, although her new arm wasn't quite fully under her control. Idly, she walked down the hall, right passed the nursery.

Neo smiled and hopped up and tip toed out quietly snickering to herself and peaked around the corner.
