Sandy pouted, which only added to the whole picture. She didn´t like being called adorable but would get used to it. She hugged again close as she had her father again for herself. He had said he would be there now and so he was. It certainly helped her to accept this ordeal quicker as she had missed him terribly. "You said we don´t go out? But...does that mean not at all? I did like when we did go to the park or I really wanted to visit the zoo with you." she told him

- If you can last a few days without wetting during daytime, we can consider going out, because then I'll be convinced you'll last without having to change you in front of everyone. - he explained Sandy, returning the hug.
- I assume you wouldn't want everyone to see you're padded, right? - he asked, in place of an explanation.

She shook her head. “But I can stay dry! It’s only when I sleep.” Though it had happened occasionally also when Sandy was invested in her playtime and decided to ignore her bladder. Mary had to wipe up some puddles.

She did hug a bit more and then wanted to be let down, wanting to see how she could walk. It certainly was more of a waddle but she was able to get one of the stuffed toys with both mittened hands.

- I heard otherwise. - Laszlo replied. He was made aware how many puddles Sandy left, and he was convinced she needed diapers all day and night, at least for now.
Regardless, he did put her on her feet when she wanted down. The girl had serious difficulty walking in her padded booties and thick diaper, but she could relatively easily pick her stuffed animals up if she used both mittened hands.

She didn’t answer to her father fearing he might otherwise tie her down again and sat down to explore what things she had to play. It wasn’t much but it sufficed. She did spent some time and ignored what her father did.

After a while, she went down to the kitchen and looked at Mary. “I want some cookies! Please!” She held her little mittened hand out and smiled, thinking she could charm her in her new outfit.

Laszlo watched her play, and when she stood up on her unsure feet and toddled to the kitchen, he silently followed her. Until Sandy demanded cookies, at least.
- Now, now. What's the correct way to ask for cookies, my dear? - he spoke behind her back, probably startling the girl.

Sandy did get startled and nearly fell. She looked up and said:”Uh I did say please.” She knew it was important. “I always ask for cookies and Mary gives me the cookies.” She explained. Mary did give Laszlo a sorry look. She knew she had spoiled Sandy at times.

- Next time, open with "please", and instead of wanting, try tell Mary what you'd like to have. I'm sure if you try again, Mary will be happy to comply. - Laszlo glared at the maid. There had to be order, and that included etiquette as well.

Sandy looked from her father to Mary and tried again. “Please, I’d like a cookie please.” She smiled and held her mittened hand out again. The maid waited for a sign from Laszlo and then gave Sandy a cookie. All happy Sandy held it up and then wanted to waddle away again.

Laszlo nodded this time, and Mary gave Sandy a cookie smiling. Although, her father did approach immediately.
- That's a good girl... But how about I help you eat it, dear? If it falls out of your hands you can't even pick it up. - he pointed out, picking the little babied girl up. He took the cookie and held it to her mouth.
