Jani finished the bottle and let out a loud burp, causing him to blush. "Scuse me." He looked at the plate of mac and cheese and licked his lips. "Nino do you think the food is cooled off enough?"

"mmm...lets see," she took the plate and scooped a spoon full, it steamed alittle, Nino blew on it before guiding it to Jani's mouth.

Jani ate the bite of mac and cheese, taking his time before swallowing it. "This is really good. Thank you." He said, tears of joy forming in his eyes as he ate his first meal in what seemed like forever to him.

Nino craddled the boy like a baby, "your welcome sweetie, after you finish, I'll clean you up alittle more." she smiled motherly.

Jani nodded as he continued eating the food that Nino was feeding him. He really needed a bath, as shown from not only the blood and dirt but the odor from his body and clothes. Once he finished eating, he tried to hug Nino but he couldn't due to the pain.

"Shhhhhh, don't worry sweetie, I know your happy but your weary from those men." she picked Jani and brought him to the bathroom, She laid him down on a thick soft mat and ran the bath, she got a washcloth and soaked it in the hot water, she then rubbed Jani's body gently, making sure to pay special attention not to hurt Jani and to stay clear of his wounds.

Jani nodded, blushing as Nino started washing him. He felt happy for the first time he could remember. Trying the best he could to lie still, his leg started to twitch, almost like a dogs when they're happy.

"Goodness, someone's happy." she smiled, "What were you doing all by yourself out there hun? its dangerous, even I underestamated them," she said pointing to her wrapped chest, she wasn't wearing a shirt, her bandages covered her breast.

"I-I was running away from something. My parents died when I was five. I ran away to prevent from being put into foster care. I eventually found an abandoned building that I stayed in until I was kicked out by some people. I guess you could say I've been running most of my life." Jani explained, tears rolling down his cheek as he started crying.

"Shhhh, no no no, don't cry, I didn't mean to upset you," she said giving him a kiss on the forehead, "Everything will be alright hun, like I said, I'm gonna take care of you."
