Joey stood there, confused as the Ra left the stadium and scratched his head. "What was THAT about?" he mumbled. He shrugged his shoulders and proceeded to go to the waiting area.

Takeo just wanted to bash his head into a pole at this point, as he went to follow Joey, wondering what was going to happen to him now. "No matter how many times I try, I always lose..." Takeo mumbled to himself as he sat on the ground, his head in his hands as he seemed to be despairing over his loss.

Crystal was still reading her book, ignoring Zane's existance.

"Well... That wasn't hard" Kaoru said as she beat her duel and began to walk off, she had defeated a yellow.

Zane didn't really seem to make a note of Crystals existence either. Either that or we just didn't care. He was taking note of the two duelists and pondering over the newcomer who used cards similar to their resident bundle of energy, Jaden Yuki.

Joey took a seat back on the bench and stretched out. "Mmm...that was fun. But really I wonder what that was about? I mean...I didn't say anything RUDE did I?" joey mumbled to himself.

"Well... since you're an Obelisk Blue... that automatically makes people think that you have an 'holier-than-thou' attitude..." Takeo said, looking up at Joey. "You seemed quite skilled in that duel, I'm impressed..." Takeo then said, trying to smile although he was still a bit depressed.

"Oh look my sister's done dueling" Crystal said as she saw Kaoru walking... Now other than Zane, she was sitting next to other people, and when they heard that the first thing that came to mind was "That's a girl!?"

"Hm? Oh yes, well I've been working on my deck for years...this is the result of all of my hard work and deck building.." Joey explained, holding up his duel disk with a smile.

"Wow... but your deck seems similar to the famous Aster Pheonix..." Takeo commented, as he looked through his deck, populated heavily with Darkness-Attribute monsters, which made the Avantasia Academy archetype useless if Darkness-Imprisoning Mirror was used.

"Hey" Kaoru said as she walked over.

"How did your duels go?" she asked.

"Aster Phoenix huh? I don't know him that well. I'm sorta...off in my own world at times...striving to get stronger and all that." He replied.
