he flinched at the narrowed eyes, and followed them back.

Raven lead them back home.
When they got to the tower Raven lead him to a spare room not far from her own. "You can sleep here tonight."

"..thank you." he said quietly, going into the room to settle down for the evening.

"If you need anything let me know." She stated and shut the door.

once she was gone,he sighed and sat down on the bed provided. "..I hate to deceive, but..if she found out from me, well..not going to think of time travel right now. think later, meditate now." he said to himself, switching to a position to meditate.

Raven went to her room to do the same thing, meditate.

perhaps due to the timing of their meditation, or just because of two magic users in such close confines, raven would hear some of alpha's subconscious musings as he attempted to dispel his stress. musings that, when put together with the question of that photo, began to paint a rather interesting picture..

Raven didn't want to listen in to his thoughts but the mental images she received could not be ignored. They were flashes of images, Azarath, her, Beast Boy, her again but older, alpha, a child.

there was one more image that flashed, one that was more ominous then the others, which carried a sense of joy to them. it was of alpha in the child form, with her and beast boy and another, older child, who was away from them, looking on in jealously. a brief flash then came, of the older one, and alpha, seemingly at odds. alpha, clenching the mantle he now wore, which now she saw it in relatively undamaged state, looked similar to her own robe..and the older boy, wreathed in flame, in a taunting position.

Raven was jerked out of her meditative state. She breathed heavily and had sweat dripping down her forehead.
