(Shame. I would have liked to have seen the team expand. Back when the show first aired, I actually had the idea for a fanfiction where the group somehow ended up bringing in the entire school on the matter. I never actually got around to writing it, though. And I don't think I will, because I realize now that there is no real reason why they would ever go THAT far.)
"Pleasant dreams, everyone," Ageha bade her guests. |
(Actually, I think they'd be involved in terms of being aware and immunized against returns to the past, but in terms of fighting, definitely not. That's key in stories I do for it, and is a benchmark in the massive crossover idea I placed on my Fanfiction profile)
"Pleasant dreams," Kurumu yawned. |
(I like your style.)
Everyone slept very soundly that night. |
(Simply put, I look at all the struggle and battles with Sissi, fellow students, faculty and families, and all I'm thinking is "bring them in on it! You need help! Do you have to always be moving mountains?" This is obviously logical, but clearly the status quo must hold)
It was quite a peaceful night for everyone. |
(I often had similar thoughts along those lines. One thing that REALLY stood out to me is how in the pilot episode Odd said "You know full well that if there's a victim, Jeremy, that even going back in time won't save him." That makes me wonder; did someone actually die from one of Xana's attacks? If so, who was it? And how did his or her death impact the return to the past? I'm sure you've wondered the same.)
The following morning at breakfast, Fujiko decided to invite them to her home next. |
(Yes, exactly. Apparently Season 3 was going to be more like Season 4, and Season 4 would have been a deep dive into Project Carthage, Aelita's family, and the background. There was also going to be further development of the romance angles. But when the focus group numbers came in, that was all scrapped)
"What do you think?" she asked. |
(Oh, well.)
"It's certainly is lovely," he observed. |
(Do you think it was a mistake to keep focusing on elementary school children and the show should've been aimed at a teen audience?)
Fujiko smiled. "Thank you for that." |
(That might've been better. As I've said before, it was Disney himself who said that adults are just kids grown up.)
Fujiko and her family actually belonged to a small community of witches. One of her neighbors, Kokiri, was about to pay her a visit. |
There was a knock on her door. "Kokiri, what do I owe this visit?"
