Alex shyly smiled from the kiss and nodded to his mom while still feeling the warmth of his wet-pull-up and sniffling. He felt somewhat ashamed that he didn't make it in time.

She hugged him closer, putting him down and opening the bag, taking out a new pull-up. "Let's get you cleaned up."

Alex nodded to his mom and took his shorts off for her. "O-okay." He said.

She gently patted his back, then took off the pull-up, throwing it away and wiping him up gently as he stood, before sliding the new one up onto him.

Alex shivered a bit as he was wiped cleaned and then sighed when the new pull-up was slipped on him. "Thank you, mommy!" He said, feeling better.

She smiled a bit at him once he was all changed, and picked him up again. "You're welcome, honey." she said. "Now, how would you like to go on a ferris wheel next?" she offered, hoping to get his mind off of what happened.

Alex smiled and nodded. "Yes!" He said, hugging his mom.

She hugged back, and headed there next. After a bit of waiting in line, they got in, and were soon slowly moving up into the air, again sitting together.

Alex looked out the window in awe. "Wow!" He said in amazement.

"And we aren't even to the top yet! The view looks even better there!" she said, hugging him close, smiling happily.
