Rudolph nodded and Sophie began to wake up.

Her mother picked her up at once. "Good morning, dearest."

She smiled as she was placed back in the sling for the ride back.

Her parents took the longer, more scenic route.

Ludovika and the elder Sophie were waiting to receive them.

"How was your day?" Rudolph asked their mothers.

"Just fine, dearest," Sophie said. Naturally, even though they both were happily married, they spent a lot of time in each other's company, especially intimately.

"We'll leave you two alone," said Ludovika, taking Sisi and her daughter aside.

Rudolph nodded at that. Sisi smiled as she followed.

"Did you finally relieve yourself?" Ludovika asked her daughter. Sophie guided her son to her bedchamber.
