Cetishil manages to seriously wound the elf with the heavy crossbow and the wolf while she also dropped the wolf's handler. Burnish manages to knock a weak blow into the white robed elf while Shanara's first blow was powerful to knock her on and make her have to start fighting for her life. (She's unconscious but is dying even with the nonlethal damage do to Shanara's first attack putting her into dying on it's own. Constitution: (2) - 3 = -1, so she loses one more hit point.)

(Heal: (15) + 0 = 15.) Even though she was badly wounded by Cetishil's attack, she's still barely up and understood what Cetishil told the group. "They want to take Miltena alive, we can't let them." She then told her group in elvish. After assuming a more fey like form that would aid the wolf in combat, she then moved over the the now fallen elf in white robes and attempted to put a crossbow bolt in her as she had a good idea that she was still alive and didn't want to risk her giving up any secrets. (Attack: (12) + 5 = 17, which will hit her even counting in the +4 to the elf's AC for being prone but doesn't get to add her dex to her AC, Damage: (10) + 1 = 11...which is enough to kill her.)

The wolf is now acting on ensuring it's survival after it's handler fell. Still, it gathers it's loyalty and attacks Cetishil as it seeks to protect it's master. (Attack: (10) + 3 = 13, Damage: (1) + 1 = 2. If it hits then it gets a trip: (13) + 3 = 16.

"Then kill her, we must not let them risk discovering anything." The elf with two crossbows tells the one with the heavy crossbow in elven in response. She then scouts Shanara (Perception: (6) + 4 = 10, fails). Unable to read any useful data off of Shanara and seeing her ally take care of the white robed elf, will then attack Shanara with a flurry of bolt fire. (Attack 1: (4) + 6 = 10. Attack 2: (7) + 6 = 13. Damage: (4) + 1 = 5.)

(I don't think there's anywhere she can be adjacent to the fallen elf and not provoke from me for taking a shot at her? Since Shanara is large at the moment.)

(Even so, it's not a coup de Grace as she wouldn't have the needed actions afterwards so she could get as close as she can and fire a normal ranged attack. She had the space to get within at least 30 ft. to make that attack. As for provoking...I'll give it to you. Make the aoo, but it won't stop the attack)

(Yeah she can get in range without having to go within my reach, you just said she was walking up within it so figured I'd ask. If the opportunity attack doesn't stop her from firing for some reason even if I down her it's not really accomplishing the relevant part, but may as well do it I guess. 22 to hit, 16+4 damage)

"Stab less lethally please! And don't kill this wolf at the very least!" Cetishil says, dropping her crossbow and pulling out her short spear this time. She moves essence from her cloak of thorns to her veil of warding, then tries to whack the wolf non-lethally with her spear. (Attack roll 19+3-4=18. Damage 5+1=6 non-lethal.)

(Well she fires it before you take advantage of her letting her guard down right afterwards. It's isn't like spell casting where it's clear what happens after being hit, so I have to go with something. And I didn't think Shanara would be large so that she could walk up, but if she would know that you were bigger than medium that she would react as such. Anyway, it hits and she's down. You still have your turn.)

(It's pretty clear that opportunity attacks resolve before their trigger? It specificies interrupting the action, and if it didn't movement based aoos wouldnt work at all without a reach weapon, and the spell casting penalties wouldn't make sense. If someone drops to an open they don't completell the triggering action since they are not in a state to take actions.)
Shanara turns to attack the elf scouting her, lunging forward and ripping into her flesh with talons. (18 vs ac, 13+2 damage)

"What in the Nine Hells is wrong with you?!" Burnish asked, rather surprised that they value their secrets more than each other. Still, he went to slam himself into another of the nearby elves.

(Well anyway, let's just treat it as what happens in this combat round and keep that in mind for the combats after this one. Please inform me when you change size though, as I had no idea that you where large. Also Burnish, Shanara will down the last remaining elf with that attack so would you want to attack the wolf instead?)
