Hikari was surprised at how messy her diaper was as she was changed, but as soon as she was set at the table with food in front of her, nothing else mattered as she hung her paci around her neck with a ribbon one of the nicer kids snuck in her backpack back at the orphanage. She then began eating her eggs with gusto.

Jack chuckles as she scarfs down the eggs. "Easy scamp, don't want you getting
a tummy ache in the middle of our shopping do we?" He ruffles her hair
playfully and eats his own eggs. "Pretty much going to have to buy your entire
wardrobe today, among other things."

Hikari nodded and slowed down with her eating, and was now eating at a more sedate pace. "Sowwy daddy." She mewled apologetically with her mouth full of eggs.

"It's ok hun."

Once they're both finished eating Jack loads their dishes into the dish washer and picks Hikari up, taking her back to her bedroom, and then to the small walk-in closet. "Now lets find you something to wear shall we?" He sets her down and takes a look at what was already on the hangers, which wasn't much. "Anything catch your eye sweetheart?"

Hikari looked over her whole selection before she pointed at a pair of pink overalls that would show a diaper bulge, since they weren't meant for diapered children.

"Cute choice." Jack says with a smile. He takes the overalls from the rack and helps Hikari strip out of her footies. Next he puts the white t-shirt on her, and helps her slip on the pink overalls before buttoning them for her. After that he slips some white socks onto her little feet followed by some pink shoes. The bulge from her diaper was pretty obvious, but Jack didn't really think it mattered, Hikari looked like a toddler afterall. "Well want to help me find something to wear hun?" Jack asks as he takes her hand in his hoof and leads her back to his bedroom, to his own little walk-in closet.

Hikari stood still as Jack dressed her while she sucked on her paci, before her daddy took her to his closet, where she pointed at a red and blue Hawaiian shirt.

"Oooh tropical." Jack takes the shirt from the hanger and slips it on and
buttons it up. He then gets a pair of blue jeans and slides them on over his
boxers. Jack buttons and zips them before smoothing out his shirt. After
leaving the closet he grabs his wallet, keys, and his cellphone from his dresser
and slides them all in their assigned pockets. "Well I suppose we should head
out. C'mon sweetheart." Jack says as he holds his hoof out for Hikari to take.

Hikari smiled as she watched Jack get dressed. "Pwetty cowlows." She mewled as she then took Jack's hoof, her paci still in her mouth and her kitty in her arms as she followed alongside Jack.

Jack leads her out to his car and puts her in the carseat, getting her buckled
in snug before getting in the drivers seat and starting the car. Aftering
buckling his seatbelt they're off. Jack was just going to go to the mall to get
what he needed, since he knew some stores that would have the supplies he'd need
for Hikari.

It's only about a 15 minute drive to the nearby mall, and as Jack carried Hikari
inside he wasn't suprised to find it rather busy, as it usually was on a
Saturday. He tracks down a cart and sets Hikari down in the basket before pushing it along, wanting to go to the baby supply/toddler clothing store first.
