Off Reality (For Sonicmixer)
 

So, this is based in a world that isn't exactly a world that a lot of people would call 'normal' by any means. While the inhabitants of said planet could easily consider everything normal, but our standards, it isn't in the slightest.

For example, in this world, there are humans, yes, but there are also aliens, robots, demons and occasional mixes too of the people on their too. Technology was advanced, but not quite up to the point of which cities floated on clouds. Well, a few did, but those things are far in between. Most of them are sort of small too, nothing too note worthy other than their literal floatiness and the fact that mostly, if not only, rich people lived their with their snobbish attitudes and kids.

Down low was far more modern and less orderly. Gangs ran rampant through the streets, but for the most part, the civilians learned to cope with them and vice versa. Law enforcement isn't the strongest, but when it comes out, it really can lay down some pain for both the innocent and the guilty. Body enhancements were a thing too, either in the form of a drug or in literal body replacement. Sometimes, it was really bad if you got the 'good stuff' as some people called it.

Anyways, I won't go on and on about how strange things are, but just know that you've been warned for the most part.

Our sights are set on two roommates in an apartment. One of these roommates was an alien by the name of Sieth. He stood on these spindly legs that only had three toes, two in the front, one in the back. His arms were the same as its legs, aside from the digitigradeness of his legs, three long fingers and so on. He also had a tail, but instead of it flopping down to the ground like most tails, it connected to the back of his head. He was also skinny as a whole.

Speaking of Sieth's head, it was certainly unique, his head was the most interesting part. Directly in the middle of it was this protrusion that was similar to that of an axe head. It went from the front of his face all the way to the back of his head. It was somewhat big and certainly sharp looking. His eyes were big, almond shaped, but look pretty normal. White, green iris, black pupil. His jaw was a little flat and had teeth sharp teeth in them, it narrowed at the tip to accommodate for the shape of his head.

He wore these pants that were short and ended above the knee, they also hugged its body somewhat tightly. His shirt, or jacket as most people saw it, however, was big enough to go down and cover his pelvis and had long sleeves that ended at the middle of his fore arms. It was mostly orange aside from the occasional square of gray on the shirt. There was also a big zipper in the middle that went from top to bottom. The collar of this jacket went up and covered all of its neck and some of his mouth.

Aside from Sieth's unique appearance, he also had a unique personality too. It wasn't that he was this lady charmer or the best of best friends, it was that he was a bit of a sadistic psychopath who really just like to see others and cause others pain. He even liked a little bit of pain himself. Now, of course, this doesn't mean he is constantly trying to kill and always being violent. More often than not, he was pretty calm about it and seemed to be able to keep himself under control for the most part. Although, there are times where he may just snap a little bit, but it wasn't too big of a deal.

Oh, and one more thing about Sieth. He was currently sitting at the computer desk, with his feet up on the glass table, crossed and everything. If someone was to look under his jacket, they would notice a little bit of puffiness down there. That's right, this guy was wearing some padding, but it wasn't like he had much of a choice, but he didn't and still doesn't care much about it either. You see, when some species of alien come to this world, their bodies aren't very tolerant towards everything. Some need respirators to breath, some need to wearing some specialized cream so that their bodies don't get corroded by the air. A rare few though had their digestive tracts effected in ways that forced them into diapers. At first, Sieth wasn't fully on board because he saw it as just plain humiliating, but after wearing it for a few days and finding out that most people didn't seem to bug him about it (And a lot of people didn't dare to) he basically settled with it.

And as if that weren't bad enough, it seemed the psychopath's roommate, the superheroine known as Layla the worlds most mediocre superhero, had just arrived back home, draped in full costume and feeling as chipper as ever. "Hey Seith, i'm back with the groceries!" She began humming as she began unloading bags of various bizarre items like the ears of a squid or the ectoplasm that gave life those magical bears you saw in all those toy commercials. Layla never quite understood how her roommate could ever eat this stuff, but she didn't really seem to mind as long as he paid his bills and didn't do any wrongdoings. Thankfully she always thought he seemed upstanding enough.
You see Layla was a unique sort. She was a superhero with several different sets of powers at her command, plenty of which she didn't even know about. But the problem is that they were almost always practically useless. How she of all people could have such a chipper personality considering the circumstances was beyond anyone's understanding. Perhaps it was one of those superpowers she didn't know about.

Sieth had stopped messing around with the mobile device in his hand, taking the time to look up and over at Layla as she came in with a bag of groceries containing the things that he always liked to eat. He got up from the chair and walked over to her and went ahead and took the bag off of her hands. "Thank you. I'll go ahead and be taking those." He said as he specifically took the bag containing the ears of a squid and the ectoplasm and just casually setting it down in their kitchen, going ahead and taking a bag containing the food meant for him and heading back to his seat.

"What exactly have you been doing out there other than trying to be a super hero? You usually don't take this long to get back." He asked her. Sieth really didn't take her abilities seriously as they didn't exactly mean too much to him at all. As a matter of fact, the whole reason he was with her was because this was the cheapest room and everyone else was just a prick in his eyes. He already developed some attachment to her over the days they've been together anyway.

Layla pouted at him. "I am a superhero! It's just that there aren't many criminals who'll stop just because i can make the air taste like popcorn." She sighed. "Anyways I was off looking for all those weird food items you requested. For some reason the supermarket was all closed up. Can't imagine why. It seemed like such a nice place. Didn't you go there just last week right?" Layla unfortunately was not exactly a big picture person, so she had a tendency to miss out on the obvious quite easily.

"Yeah, I did head there last week. Apparently some guy decided it would be funny to get rat food, and poison, everywhere while constantly screaming about something involving rats and spreading some "great plague"." Sieth said as he went ahead and ate what he got from the bag. "Well, he certainly spread some plague, and his guts all over the floor when the police burst in and shot him on the spot. They tried starting up again, but, well, everything was contaminated, so the place got shut down."

Layla's eyes literally lit up with the image of flames, thanks to her power of creating incredibly cheap optical illusions with her eyes based on her emotional state. "Really?! Well wait till I get my hands on that creep! I'm gonna make him wish he was never born when i'm through with him!" She growled as her nostrils began to puff smoke out of them. "Why didn't you tell me that before! I could have already been on the case already! All i need is a description!"

Sieth stared at her before face palming a little bit. "Lady. He's dead. The cops literally point blanked him with a shot gun when he tried to run out of there and tried to spread that weak ass virus." Sieth said, giving her this disappointed look that also showed he was a little annoyed by her completely missing a part of what he had just said. "I swear, you make me want to gut you at times." That was a little abrupt, but that was the usual thing from Sieth. Aside from used diapers.

(admittedly misread that the first time. But i'll just use it as an excuse to build character.)

Layla blinked in surprise for a few seconds before starting to glare at him. "Well how was I supposed to know!? I've only seen you get shot in the gut before and you seemed to be able to walk that off just fine. So I just decided to use that for comparison. So if ya think about it, it's really your own fault."She stuck her tongue out at him like a 5 year old. On top of not noticing his more murderous impulses, Layla apparently seemed to miss the memo that her room ate was a full blown alien. She just thought those tentacles were a skin disorder or something.

Sieth stared at her like she was some sort of idiot. Well, that's what he usually saw her as, but a lot of the time, it wasn't that big of a problem. "Lady, did you forget that I'm an alien? And that when I was shot, it wasn't by something meant for close range?" It did hurt like hell, yes, but his anatomy just allowed him to walk it off because his people's nerves were dulled, meaning they didn't register pain like a human would.

(So does Layla know about the diapers? And I had a feeling that you missed that part, but I decided to sort of just mix it in, you know, just to make things a little better, maybe.)

The young superheroine stifled a laugh. "Ah yes the alien thing. Always cute Seithy." She began to finish putting away the rest of the groceries. "I bet all the girls love that line. That you're some alien from another world and you've come to deliver pleasure to all the women. Thankfully I'm smart enough not to fall for it. That's one of my superpowers y'know, being super observant." Unfortunately she did not in fact have this power, she merely kept convincing herself she did due to her actually fairly working power of super deniability.

(I'm not sure. Do you think it would it be more entertaining if she did or she didn't?)

(It can go either way based on how you make her act towards his padding.)

"Really now? I guess I must have the super power too because, last I checked, you really miss out on a lot of things in the world, like the thing that happened at the super market. If you were so observant then you wouldn't have missed that now would you?" He asked, giving her this skeptical look as he decided to move to his bed, which was one that came out of the wall. A rather raggedy one, but Sieth didn't care. "And don't call me cute unless you're trying to make a move on me."

(I always prefer the more humiliating way myself. Like her making constant fun of it.)

Layla sighed. That boy was such a needless grump. He needed to get himself a girlfriend or something. He was some mean all the time, it was absolutely ridiculous. He was like some 12 year old trying to pretend he was an adult by acting like an emo jerkoff all the time. But still she held out hope for him. Somewhere behind all that.. weirdly colored skin was a heart of gold. Or at least brass or soemthing. Just something metal and shiny.

(Then she could do that to him because Sieth is kind of mean to her after all.)

Likely a heart of ice mixed in with some cold hard steel. "What, don't like the truth of things or are you just too oblivious to realize how stupid you are at times?" He asked with a raised brow. Yeah, real polite guy he was. "I wouldn't be surprised for either of those because sometimes I look at you and wonder what goes on in that pretty little head of yours. Maybe nothing or a little bit of something..."

(Sure why not. Just need to find a good way for her to find out, and how to exploit it)

Although that wasn't much of an excuse for him to be a prick while searching for that shiny heart. Layla was starting to get a little bit annoyed with him. "Oh yes you're oh so smart. At least my superheroing pays. What kind of job do you have mister? I don't see you going out to run errands!"

(Maybe she finds her extra diapers somewhere, specifically, in the bathroom.)

"I do run errands. Some people just love to hire me to do some pretty bad stuff, and I get paid a whole lot for it. Basically, I've been hired to murder someone before. I just gave them a nasty cut and watched them to see how far they would get before they died due to blood loss." He didn't see her as a threat at all, so he had no problem admitting that. He still added this part though she she wasn't trying to constantly choke hold him. "Bad people. You know, people who deserve it."

(ooh that could work)

She rolled her eyes. "Ugh. I can see you're not gonna take this seriously at all. Well than fine. Play your silly little game. Pretend to be a murderous antihero. See if I care." She made a hpmh noise as she stomped over to the bathroom, needing some space from his transferability. He could be so absolutely childish sometimes. She just couldn't understand wh- she paused for a second as she laid her eyes on a rather interesting sight indeed. Seems there was a freshly opened pack of diapers just sitting on the ground. Now what could this be doing in their apartment? She picked it up and brought it outside to question her roommate, her anger mostly dissipated for the moment. "Hey do you have any idea what these were doing in our bathroom?"

Sieth didn't really care that she was getting fed up with him. That was her being too darn oblivious for her own good. He wasn't her babysitter or anything close to that, so he definitely wasn't going to try to correct her. Now sitting on his bed and just occasionally munching away at his squid ears while also messing around on the new iPhone 105. He was minding his own business before suddenly hearing her call out to him. Blinking and looking over to the restroom and seeing her standing there with a folded up diaper meant for him, he immediately blinked.

"Um... That is er... Protection for me." He said, blushing softly as he sat up on his bed, sort of pulling his jacket down in front slightly to hide the padding he was wearing right now that was giving him some slight puffiness through his tight pants.

Layla stood silent for a moment before falling onto the floor, attempting to prevent herself from dying of laughter. "This may be the greatest thing that has ever happened!" She got u[ and grinned as she ripped open his coat to look inside, not caring about the tentacles and such watsoever. "You're actually wearing a baby diaper! This is so cute!" She giggled as she began poking it. "Does somebody want his ba ba?" She cooed as she began patting Seith's obviously not amused head. "I have to tell everybody about this."

Sieth's face started to light up like a red Christmas light. "S-Shut up..." He growled at her before his eyes widened when she suddenly opened up his jacket forcefully, revealing the diaper he had through the puffiness in his pants. Immediately closing his jacket up and now sitting there with a blush on his face, his eyes widened and he had suddenly grabbed her by the arm. "Don't you dare tell ANYONE else about this!" He snapped at her, sounding a mix of angry as hell and scared. "I don't need a bunch of people harassing the heck out of me about this!"

"Aww." Layla teased. "Does the big bad supposed alien killer care that people are gonna think he's a big baby who likes to wear wittle diapees? Too bad!" She whipped out her communications device. "Cause after how mean you've been to me, I think you need a little lesson in humility." She began dialing a bunch of numbers.

"Give me that!" He snapped again, trying to immediately grabbed the device from her hand and no doubt break it. "You think ruining my life is really going to solve anything? If anything, it's just going to make me hate even more than I already do!" He exclaimed as he was pretty much trying to crawling up on her too just to get the thing.

Jayla however wasn't having any of that and simply jumped out of the way and began floating at least 2 feet off the ground to try and stay further out of his reach. "Ah but now I at least have some leverage on you my silly little diaper clad friend." She cooed. "You're always making fun of me, so it only seems fair I should even the score somewhat." She finished at least writing her post.

"So what if I make fun of you!? That's me making fun of you, not thousands of people!" Sieth said as he remained persistent and kept trying to snatch the phone away from her. With how she barely got even a few fewoff of the ground, Sieth was easily jumping up at her to her height and trying rip the phone from her. He was grabbing at her arms to try and stop her from doing anything else with that phone of hers.

"Yeah but maybe this'll humble you a bit!" She growled as she fought to send it out, only to find the phone suddenly ripped from her hands and flung to the floor. Layla was thankful that she'd paid extra to get the powerful case put on it, so its safety wasn't in question. They of course dived after it, only to both bump it and cause it to accidentally slide under their apartment door like a hockey puck.

Sieth watched as the thing slid under the door before looking to Layla in surprise for just a moment. Immediately springing up to his feet, he had went to open the door immediately, hoping that no one was out the hall at that very moment. He was going to steal her phone (and probably eat it) just so she could never try to torture him with public humiliation!

Layla of course was able to spring to her feet just as fast, determined to subject him to any sort of humiliation and damage that perfect little ego of his. However it seemed that neither Seith or Layla would be taking ownership of the phone, since just as the alien bent down to grab it, the phone was suddenly blown away by a giant gust of wind coming down the hallway.

Sieth swore when the phone was suddenly blown out of reach. Having his attention drawn away from the phone for just a second, he had immediately looked down the hallway to see what the heck caused winds that strong. Once he saw it, well, he would go right for the phone again.

Seems their neighbor a local wind elemental, Mr Stratus was feeling a little sick that day and was having a sneezing fit outside his apartment while he was grabbing a package from outside his door. Unfortunatley his sneezing hadn't ceased, because as soon as he saw the two phone chasers arrive outside their own apartment, another seneeze came on and sent them flying straight towards the same window the phone had suddenly fallen out of.

Sieth blinked for a moment when he saw it was Mr. Stratus who caused it. He knew that being in this hall was bad and was just about to turn around and run back, but before he even got a chance, he was suddenly thrown straight out of the window. As a matter of fact, the sick sneeze was so darn strong it actually three him into one of the many cloths lines in the alley way, but that did little to cushion the impact with the other building. Slamming into the wall with an audible thud Sieth immediately fell to the ground below, or basically the pavement.
