Under Padding (Private)
 

Frisk woke up in a small bed of flowers, light streaming down from the hole they had initially tumbled down. Standing up he found it was miraculous that he was alive, let alone barely hurt at all! Though as he looked around, he found there wasn't anyway he was going to climb back up the hole he fell down. So he made his was down the oddly not cave like hall that led to an archway. Going through the archway and into a new area, he saw a small grassy mound with light shining down onto a yellow flower.

The single flower sprang up, a cheerful face appearing in the center. ¨Hi there, I´m Flowey!¨ the flower curved slightly, scratching its ¨chin¨ with a leaf. ¨Hmm, a human eh? We don´t get your kind too often down here, in the Underground.¨ he smiled. ¨Welcome!¨

Stunned at first, to see a talking flower, it had a face too! Curious, he approached it. "Hi." he said simply, not knowing what else to say to a talking flower, he wasn't exactly sure the flower would be much help to him anyway, how would a flower help him get out of this place anyway? He considered just walking right on by it, but since it was looking at him, he'd feel a bit fuilty just leaving it there after it greeted him so nicely.

¨This is the Underground, land of monsters. But don´t worry, we don´t bite....much.¨ it giggled, pressing a leaf to its mouth. A thin cloud of spores was beginning to form. ¨Hmm, it seems you´re quite weak, compared to, well, you might meet her eventually, if you live long enough.¨

Taking in everything he heard the plant say, he began to get a bit worried when it began to talk of strength, the spores in the air that were forming also put him on edge. What was this little plant thing doing? Should he just cut and run now to save himself whatever was going to happen, or perhaps it was something beneficial, though he didn't know how spores would benefit him in the slightest.

¨You need to increase your LV.¨ Flowey said, that smile never leaving his face. It´s ebony, irisless eyes stared deep into Frisk´s own irises. ¨What´s LV you make ask? Why, it stands for love of course.¨ he creeped closer. ¨To raise your LV, you must do things that, well, might seem unsettling at first.¨

(I was thinking you would, since she comes in and essentially removes flowey.)

Of course the more the flower spoke, the more he seemed hesitant. Love? Increase it? It didn't seem like it was all complete here, this flower wasn't telling him something, and the unnerving way it looked at him didn't help matters either, he decided to be ready, for whatever was going to come.

¨You´ll have to k-GRKKK!¨ Before Flowey could continue, a glowing, wispy, purple and white fireball flew into him, sending him careening away, and smoking.

¨Are you alright child?¨ An ancient, yet motherly, voice said, as a shadow loomed over him.

One moment the flower had been there, the next it was being blasted away by a ball of fire. Looking over to see a shadowy figure looming in the darkness, he didn't know how t react, slightly frightened at the display of power whoever this was had shown. "Y-yes." he stammered as he tried to make out who this was, if it was someone he could make out and not just some kind of shadowy monster.

A feminine, goat looking humanoid emerged from the shadows. Her entire being radiated kindness and warmth. She wore a long, flowing purple roble, with white sleeves that almost blended into her fur. ¨Greetings, little one, I am Toriel.¨ she kneeled down so she was eye level with the young man. ¨Now, what´s a boy like you doing here, hmm?¨ she asked sweetly.

Thankfully, the creature that came from the shadows seemed pleasant enough, it was far more comforting than the flower had been. "I, uh. Fell." he said simply as he looked at Toriel in the face. She looked quite kind to him, and had probably saved him from some kind of horrible fate with that flower. Not to mention she also seemed far more capable, surely this monster could help him get out of here?

¨You fell?¨ Toriel asked, looking up. There was, indeed, a, from her perspective, small hole in the roof of the cavern. ¨Well, the only way out of the Underground is treacherous, young one. It is guarded by a great magical barrier, which none have ever been able to pass through." she stood up, dusting off her robe. ¨In the meantime, are you hungry? I can make you something at my home.¨ she said, holding out her hand/paw.

A magical barrier? Well he'd have to see about that, getting out of here was the first thing on his mind and he didn't think some magical barrier would stop him all that much. But for the moment, he would be rude to not accept this monsters hospitality. "Uh yes, that sounds nice." he stated, he was in fact hungry, not terribly so, but enough to eat.

¨Alright then.¨ Toriel smiled, turning around. ¨Follow me young one.¨ she said, and began walking away, humming softly. She tried to stay fairly slow so the relatively smaller Frisk could keep up with her.

Frisk kept up with Toriel as he was led off through this odd place. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long until they got wherever it was they were supposed to be going, but who knows how long it could end up taking? Though the initial thought didn't bother him so much because of the friendly monster there to guide him along. If he could just stick with her, he wouldn't have any issue of getting back to the surface.

Soon, they arrived at the ruins that made up Toriel´s home. ¨We´re here.¨ she smiled, leading him by the hand inside. After getting through a few locks and safeguards, she led him into a more homely enviroment. ¨Your room is right up those stairs,¨ she pointed. ¨Second door on your right.¨

Having a rather uneventful trip through the ruins with Toriel guiding him the entire way, he went to the room she had directed him to, going inside of it and looking at it. It looked like a very normal room for the most part, everything you'd expect was there. Going in he laid down onto the bed, sighing as he relaxed from the whole ordeal, not realizing just how tired he had been after all the of the events that occurred, he accidentally drifted off to sleep only a few moments later, breathing gently as he laid there.

A few hours into his sleep, a buzzing noise awoke him. If Frisk were to awaken, he would find a small, cream colored cellphone laying next to him, with a note from Toriel. ¨I know this may not seem like much, but I thought this would be a nice way to communicate if you and I are ever separated. Love, Toriel.¨

Frisk awoke to the strange buzzing noise, wiping the sleep from his eyes he saw the phone and read the note. Slowly realizing where he was as his drowsiness slowly left him. He had been asleep for awhile now and as he hopped out of bed he realized he needed to go to the bathroom. Putting the cell phone in his pants pocket he made his way out of the bedroom, though he began looking around to see if he could find a bathroom, not wanting to embarrass himself by asking Toriel.
