X-Men: little fireworks
 

Jubilee was as most would say outside of her and those would relay it to her as being cranky or a brat and not refusing to take any break from the team or missions. Emma even outright finally has decided to explain to those who couldn't see why and how they was trying to get Jubilee to stop and take a vacation from work isn't working , so she gathered those that mattered mostly the older ones that won't relay any plans to Jubilee as sure she could tinker with those peoples mermorys but she feels the extra work is pointless and would take up far too much of her time aswell as time to set a plan in motion

''Okay Girls, Charles , Logan and ...''Emma trailed off glaring at the risk of the males not addressed You see she only has afew males in this group here she can respect '' Filthy males ''Emma said not going to be polite to the males as lets face it she is a telepathic mutant and knows the rest have a lot of dirty thoughts true any male and woman has their share but Emma both is a pro female and has noticed most males seem to in general have more dirty thoughts then woman.

''The Reason Jubilee is refusing vacation time despite the work getting to her is simple she is holding guilt from working with the so called 'bad guys' from all the times this team has been disbanded and the so called 'good' guy teams keep disbanding or being destroyed yet she needed to make money without worry of a sudden out of work situation . So she worked for those like Doom and Magneto among others even had a stint with the government '' Emma explained and given how most here know how corrupted the majority in the government is its easy to see why she didn't go further on that one.

''The best way to relax her while making her believe she is doing proper X-Men work well is to give missions that chances are going to be just relaxing '' Emma said and seeing as she is currently the leader as Charles is taking a break she looked at Hank and Storm'' You two I need to talk in private come with me to my office ''

"We've all made unfortunate mistakes during our time as X-Men. Or even before when some of us were involved with less... humanitarian pursuits." Beast offered, gesturing just a little bit to Emma and of course referring to her time with the Hellfire Club and trying to destroy the X-Men. "Even I'm not guilt-free when it comes to times where I've let my hubris or what I felt was right override my sense."

Storm piped up as well crossing her legs and sipping some tea. "The child should know better than to blame herself. We've all done things we regret. I don't think we need to start pointing fingers at each other and starting some internal conflict." Storm noted with a glance between Henry and Emma. "We're here because we're all very close to Jubilee and want what's best for her. So do we have any ideas?"

Hank and Storm looked at each other when Emma requested them both to follow her to her office. Hank shifted nervously considering he just sorta shots fired at Emma. Though he did push up from his chair and offer his hand to Storm to escort her. "Shall we my dear?" Hank flashed Storm a warm feral grin and escorted Storm along with him to Emma's office. "Good thing I wore my debrief briefs."

Emma smirked at hearing Hank ''If it was up to me and most of the females in the X-Men you'd be in diapers Hank McCoy '' Emma remarked no hint of joking to her . Not like she plans to right now unless she learns Hank goes too far in this flimsy as hell mission she plans to have these two on with Jubilee

''And Dear Queen of Wakanda we all know that but now that you mention it I really should do some temporary tinkering to see who all can be trusted on missions if stress and other conditions could result in such trouble'' Emma only used Storms some still existing title and status as a formality mainly '' But as for the Firework we are discussing she is still young and even most adults haven't went through nearly as much as she and so it can't be helped ''

Emma sighed as she entered her office and sat in her chair '' Now as for ideals I have a mission that at worst should be just very embarrassing for her but it aligns with something she keeps hidden otherwise she should be relaxing and distressing most of the time. This mission I need you to play the role of parents for Jubilee and I would say Storm may be the best to be the one going and Hank getting the letters given the odors dealt with on a very frequent basis '' Emma tossed two the mission folder of a place that every place in the world has very little data on aside from basic facts and some rumors aswell as what Emma managed to pry from a mind but even that's not much . All that's sure is its for those very up in the world to go to and/or their children which seems to be some retreat to let some people relive more innocent time of their life

''Jubilee would be the one 'reliving' that time while learning details of the place''Emma explained

"You'd regret such a thing in the end I'm sure. Though you'd all be weak to my childish adorable factor." Hank quipped as he checked himself out in a mirror in Emma's office once the arrived. "But let's be adults about this... we're here to help Jubilee not start plotting to fill a vacant hole in your motherly side."

Storm reached over and tickled Hank's chin just a bit with a smile. "Don't tempt her or me to encourage her." She warned playfully as they all found seats in Emma's office to relax in... Storm petting Beast as he sat down next to her. "Well we certainly can't have the young one beating herself up over this errors."

Hank quirked a brow at Emma and Storm and picked up the folder to peruse the details. Glancing up and over at Storm regarding the case. "So I guess we're parents. And we didn't even get to enjoy the methods of creating our child." Hank jokes just a bit as continues to peruse the folder with a curious brow quirk.

''If I wanted to fill a motherly hole I'd pick your evil twin over you '' Emma replied serious as the past of that Hank McCoy is very said and painful to know and she'd rather baby that male over this Hank.

''And you both will keep her out of the loop till almost there, I don't care how you do it so long as it works . As you can tell letters coded in a way are the best to get details as with so little info of that place I do not wish higher tech methods giving the matter away'' Emma put her arms on the desk in front of her in a manner that would say someone is evil but this is just a carry over from her days when she was evil '' And if you can somehow convince her to leave her devices behind that would help . Maybe try to convince her to play what I think is still called 'retro' games ''

"He'd be plotting to betray you at every avenue. Though I do at times feel bad for him. I've even considered employing a method to regress him and let him start over. I'm sure my Mother would love a little one running around the house again." What Hank suggested might be a bit shocking... that he'd consider such a devious plot against his evil twin. Plus that he had such methods ready to go if he did.

"Simple enough. We can tell her it's a low-tech zone. And if she plots to bring anything in with us I can short it out before we get there. A little EMP blast from one of the vehicles should take care of the matters." Storm looks between Hank and Emma. "Are you sure that's wise? It would leave us out of contact as well in case there's trouble." Hank shook his head a bit. "I'll bring some back-up shielded gear."

''Seems like you are more evil then I gave you credit for'' Emma said with a serious tone but then she sent a rather strong mental feeling of a face slap and crotch kick to Hank for the teck matter'' No none of that too risky if you must bring something to get in contact then shielded disposable phones and have some members on speed dial but with aliases ''Emma said sternly though she has a paranoia based matter on things born from being a bad guy for most of her life as a mutant like

''Fair enough I can send out a rush order for the clothes and diapers she will wearing once you reveal the mission close to the location '' Emma told Storm

"I wouldn't consider it evil... though I'm more ethical than some." Hank groans though at Emma's mental face slap and kick to the crotch. Hank growling darkly at Emma in return for such abuse. "I don't have to help at all you know." Hank's lips curling into a devious smile. "After all, it's 2017. The world is more progressive. Perhaps Jubilee has two mommies instead. You clearly need the vacation to work on that aggressive streak you're nurturing Emma." Hank noted with a grin.

"I can get the supplies ready for you two Mommies on the double. Besides with a Telepath in the group you can easily keep in contact with us if there's trouble." Hank offered a warm smile to Emma and Storm as he rose from his chair and turned to depart. "It's a very good idea you both had. I'm sure you can show me how it's done with two such wise and gifted X-Women such as yourself. That way my foolish maleness won't potentially compromise what you have planned for Jubilee."

''Get Back here you! '' Emmas emotional wave darkened as Hank didn't listen as she sent a signal in Hanks head to start having eyesinght like he was on some trippy drugs '' I'm the leader and Jean is not fit to be a leader after she from 3 months in the role snapped turning Iceman a stereotypical gay beyond mine and Charles ability to fix'' Emma hissed as she is still pissed she didn't realize how Jean would snap doing that to one of the few formerly strait males she liked and didn't mind the flirting and Iceman knew where the line was and never crossed it .'' You convince Charles or another telepath that is not Jean and I will go but I'm ordering the stuff you are unfamiar with Jubilees tastes''

Hank closed his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose... growling just a bit under his breath at Emma. "What's the matter Emma? Afraid to actually go out in the field out of your comfort zone?" Hank seemed to be putting up serious resistance to Emma's mental intrusion into his head trying to mess with his vision.

"If you're leader then you should lead by example. Unless I'm right and you really are afraid to get out of your comfort zone. And I thought you cared for Jubilee?" Hank was turning the tables on Emma... or at least attempting to. Storm cleared her throat just a bit. "This isn't getting us anywhere. We're here for Jubilee."

Storm offered with a roll of thunder and a strike of lightning just outside the office's window. Storm clearly wasn't in the mood to deal with the two bickering. "I'm not about too choose sides here. But I think you both need to be put in timeout for how you're behaving. Now let's get back to Jubilee before the next strike is in here."

Emma growled and knocked Hank out ''Lets talk as I take this brat to the X-baby nursery'' Emma said '' Now as for Jubilee seems we are stuck together for now , when are you willing to leave ?'' Emma asked as she plans how to teach Hank his place as they're gone or once back which workers best

Storm frowned at Emma just a little bit. "He does have something of a point. You're manipulating other X-Men. You're knocking them out and punishing them. Perhaps you do need to get out of the Headmistress chair and out into the field. Or at least need some form of relaxation." Storm put her hand up to stop Emma from taking Hank.

"Just leave him be. You can't just lash out at people who have legitimate points. You're just making enemies for yourself. And you're not limiting it just to those you have distaste for. Not everyone trusts you even now... and this isn't helping matters." Storm picked up Henry as best she could and put him on the couch and covered him up.

"As for when we can depart? Whenever you're ready. I should go pack a bag and prepare for someone to handle my duties in my absence. I'm sure you have similar things that you need to see to." Storm gestured for Emma to lead the way so they can prepare cover identities and Emma can get together the intended supplies for Jubilee.

''Storm'' Emma said in abit of a frown at being told that but she knows the woman hasn't the full details of why she is like that'' One he had it coming do to how he behaves and 2 the way I handle members is a carry over from my times dealing with ragtag teams that needed a near authoritarian leadership to work and the times when most everyone was the type you needed to keep a Alpha status and remind them regularly who was in charge to keep from falling apart as the real evil would get them if they fell apart. '' Emma explained and eyed Storm firmly

'' I wouldn't even have agreed to this leader role if Charles wasn't starting to strain from years of leading, You leaving to be a males plaything when you was leader in his place and Jean cracking so bad when she tried to take charge that two powerful telepaths can't fix Icemans sexuality '' Emma said with a sigh as they walked along and she thought.

''I suppose I never really have had a chance to change my methods though as each time I make headway the teams I was on disband or gets destroyed so a unofficial vacation with a handsome woman such as you and caring for a girl could maybe help '' Emma said as she was typing up a cover identity for herself and some bullshit backstory for Storm in how they meet and took in Jubilee as one Storm is royalty so that aids in getting a reason for being in the place. 2 Emma had out of her safety and others awhile back wiped most data from digital records and 3 Jubilee is such a unknown still still they just need a backstory for the girl to be set

"Isn't the mature way to handle disagreements... to 'Use Your Words' s we frequently tell the children? Perhaps leading by example would do wonders." Storm offers with a concerned look at Emma as they walk and talk. "He's more than earned the right to his opinion. Regardless of mistakes he's made over the years. We're all flawed." Storm offered with a warm shoulder squeeze. "But it's your choice."

"Well... I'm here now. So despite my obligations outside the school I'm here for those who need me." Storm tsk'd just a bit about Jean though. "That was her teen self... you can't blame every Jean for that." Storm noted as the walked into the briefing room to plot and prepare for their mission. "That's the spirit... I'm sure we'll have a fantastic time." Storm knocked on a wood stand just for touch of luck.

Emma tsk herself'' I don't care I won't let her lead as she still hasn't the mental strength to hold on in the position and I have no desire to be one of a select few none sterotypes in this team'' Emma said firmly showing she both knows Jeans current mental fortitude and is not risking a group made of mostly sterotypes happening as that would both drive her batty and it'd screw baseline humans views of mutants up worse'' Recall when she under stress made you a sterotype aswell? That was even more recent be glad we managed to fix that and she still has those times happening frequent enough '' Emma retorted in a manner to further her point on Jean

'' As I said old methods with leader roles given how bad it got most of the time if I used Charles or Magneto's methods instead of mine ''Emma said as most times she tried Charles and Mageneto's methods it tended to lead to the groups killing most everyone before she could stop it.'' Now how should we have Jubilee become our child in this backstory ? I need your input as you are closest to her ''

"I'm sure that they'll be able to manage without you for a little while. And I'm sure time away from the team will do you wonders." Storm offered as she smiled warmly over at Emma as they prepared their backstories for the mission. "Let's just focus on Jubilee rather than argue about Jean. I know you don't like her much." Storm shook her head as she typed at the computer setting things up for them.

"I say we twist the facts and reality to build an easy to remember backstory. Troubled child who got in some trouble with the law. And has been placed with us for to help make her a productive member of society. And of course she's home schooled. And a bit of a problem child who needs a firm hand." Storm grinned just a bit at Emma to see what she thought so far in regard to the backstory being crafted.

Emma chuckled abit'' Oh yeah I forget she still has a record from before the Sentinel crap. Funny how the government sees fit to wipe any criminal doings she and other younger mutants had and still do sense then when its unclear if its do to those still being made by Rogue Master Sentinels moving about'' Emma remarked as she smiled seeing Storms work'' Say how often did your past as a thief aid you in this kind of thing? I mean your weaving of facts as you type is on pair with some who make crime a career'' Emma asked on the matter as Storm has skills that can put most people to shame on backstory building


As if speaking of Jubilee and trouble was a suumons she came sailing through the air outside the window blowing up something she had been propelled on right before landing and spit out some blood '' That all you got asshole?'' Jubilee taunted one of either the elder X-Men members or one of the rather powerful students as her demeanor shifted seeing her trademark coat and goggles was ruined she make a charged circle around herself'' If you enter this ring I will kill you'' This was said in a eerie creepy manner though given this is Jubilee chances are good that whoever she is talking to has one of those 'Making copys of oneself and/or making copies of others' ability's meaning she wouldn't be killing a real person but a construct that acts like the original

Storm smiled just a bit deviously to Emma, as that was an excellent avenue for them to build Jubilee's backstory around for this particular mission. "My days as a thief was far more simple than this. It was more stealing wallets and food to survive. Think Aladdin." Storm noted as she finished crafting up Jubilee's backstory and sent it into the system to integrate it into her active file. "Done. We're now proud parents."

Storm pinched the bridge of her nose at seeing Jubilee outside the window and sighing heavily. "I think the sooner we leave the better. Perhaps we should borrow Henry's regression serum and making her into a child as well for this." Storm offered just a bit wickedly. "After all I'm sure our naughty Beast would appreciate a test of his research." Storm glanced out the window and the sky darkened and it began to rain.

Emma chuckled '' Oh that's a image I'd love seeing you and others reenacting that kiddy version of Aladdin for the kids and you being a sexy female version of Aladdin with me being Jasmine ''Emma seemed into that ideal . Its kinda odd still for anyone seeing her so lighthearted and wanting to entertain kids. Still much like Storms reaction Emma pinched the bridge of her nose and frowned at Jubilees behavior '' Agreed we might want to it'd help everything in the long run to use it''

Jubilees charged circle ended up zapping her from enough rain and too little rubber insulating her from her own powers'' Who dares ? '' Jubilee had to growl over someone using weather powers causing her a shock from her own power use as she is in one of her angry moods as her goggles and coat are not easy to replace in 2017 she has to generally search all over to find even half decent ones of both and its hard online aswell as physical places to find replacements. That and you can spend a lot for just one or the other
