The tricky kitsume
 

The last kitsume ori was walking around looking for food when he when he a festival in a near by town. He was a young kitsume so he was curious

People in town were all dressed in white gowns and fox masks, dancing around and singing in odd language

He accidentally got too close and fell off a rock and landed infront of a bunch of people

People gasped as they saw him. One person, dressed in orange robe, walked over. "Look, my dear fellows! Our god finally reached us from heavens!"

He got up and blushed. .

People started bowing at him, saying praises and prayers

He was confused as his stomach growled. Your god demands food

"You all heard our god! Bring the best meat, vegetebles and fruits we have!" said man in orange robe and many people ran to gather food

He walked up to the man.

Man kneeled down to him. "My lord. We waited for you for so long. May your godly light lead us throught darkness and destroy our enemies"

Enemies i can give protection.

"You are so kind, my lord. I knew our prayers will be listened"

So what kind of enemies just humans or monsters too?

"There are monsters attacking farmers and eating our crops, my lord"

I can put up illusions

"Very bright idea, my lord. As expected"

What do you do around here

"We made this festival to seek for your help, my lord. Monsters began to attack more often and we couldn't defend ourselves" he said. People started bringing food

He started to focus and he put up illusions of oni guards

People were truly amazed by powers of their 'god'

He started to have a accident due to the massive use of his power

Nobody seemed to notice it. They were praising him and bowing deeply

He was starting to eat when someone noticed

It was some young female but she decided to be silent about it as it would be disrespectful

Your god will keep you safe.

"Thank you, lord. May heavens bless us all" said people

He finished and got up. Ok what do you need help with

"Our crops are smaller than they used to be, my lord. We will have problems with getting enough food for winter" said one farmer

I can help with that my Mom showed me powerful magic for crops

"This is wonderful! As expected of our beloved god!"

It will cause a strain so do you have anything to prevent accidents

"We can help with that, my lord. There is no worry" said female from before

Young woman was really shocked to hear that. "Ah... I don't know if I am worth of such spot, my lord"

"I don't know if I am worthy enough of personally caring about you"

I don't mind I am pretty young for a god.

He started to cast the spell on the crops making them grow faster

People were so glad for that and praised their god
