Lightning Strikes Twice (private)
 

The members of Organization XIII sat apon their thrones, all called for another meeting to discuss ideas to finally posess a pure heart to speed up the process on Kingdom Hearts, as the have for the past month.
"Meeting is now in session." Xemnas announced. "Speak of ideas to obtain a pure heart only. Nothing else."
Demyx then shot up his arm. "Oh! Oh! I think..."
"No, you don't think Dem." Xigbar had interupted, making a few members snicker.
"Seriousness, everyone." Xemnas warned them all.

"Call me crazy, but what if we just got all those Princesses that are supposed to have pure hearts? It's not like kidnappin' 'em would be hard." Larxene said, slouching in her seat and curling a bit of hair around her finger.

"It's an idea, but it would take too long to collect them, and time is not something we have." Xemnas said. "We need an idea that will get us one ASAP."
"Wait just a second." Vexen then said. "We may not be able to get a princess of heart in a matter of minutes, but we DO have a Nobody of one."

"So we put Namine in a room with Vexen's chemistry kit and hope magic happens? No offense, but I wouldn't trust Vexen's lab to make water into steam." Larxene said nastily, smirking at Vexen.

"Excuse you, but I happen to be a fine scientist!" Vexen hissed, taken offense to Larxene's comment. "Now, a heart can't be born unless a child is first, am I correct? So if someone had though they were a child, a fresh heart may take the old ones place. However, if we would do such a thing to Namine, a pure heart may fill her empty chest, being she is a Nobody who has one. If we would do this, it may be only less than a day or so until a pure heart is finally ours."

"...Wait, could you start over with that one? I lost you at the point where you were being very stupid." Larxene said.

Vexen sighed. "Allow me to dumb it down for all of you: we make Namine think she's a child somehow, which will probably make a pure heart appear. Can I get it any dumber than that?"

"That's stupid and you're stupid. Minds don't make hearts appear." Larxene said childishly.

"What would you know of such a manner!?" Vexen shouted, now getting fustrated. "And even so, how would we know if we never try?"
"I say ol' Freezerhead's got a point." Lexaeus said, putting a hand on his chin. "I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about. I mean, who else could solve the property of matter in his sleep?"

"This is again working on the dangerous assumption that Vexen knows what he's doing." Larxene said, getting in more than her usual amount of pressing Vexen's buttons for the day.

"Well, Ms. Know-it-all, do YOU have anything better than my idea?" Vexen asked the Savage Nymph.

"No. Doesn't make it a good idea." Larxene waved a hand.

"Don't come crying to me when it blows up when you try to test it."

"Gggrgh!"
"Does anyone, but Larxene, oppose this idea?" Xemnas then asked everyone.
The members was silent and only exchanged glances, seeing who would raise their hand. Seeing no one would, Xemnas clapped his hands together. "In that case: Vexen, go to work on this immediantly on this experiment. As for everyone else, I give approval for you all to help him if you so please."
"What!?"
"BUT....any funny business, you deal with me, and you all know very well what I'll do if it comes to that. Dismissed."

Larxene shrugged.

If it had been her that might have been tested on, she'd have protested, but like she cared what happened to Namine and Vexen.

Vexen, on the other hand, was now very aggitated by Larxene. She always insulted his intellegence, even though she was no smarter. The Chilly Academic planned to get back at Larxene one way or another, just enough for her to reconsider her current thoughts.

Larxene sat down on her bed, pulling out a manga and some gum to pass the time.

"Hey Larx." Xigbar said when his head popped out from Larxene's room wall. "Ya got a minute?"

"What's up, Xig?" Larxene said, looking up from her reading.

Once Larxene saw him, she quickly noticed he wasn't wearing his eye patch, instead having an eye bandage over his right eye. Xigbar only raised his eyebrows once Larxene looked at this.

"What's up with the bandage?" Larxene said.

"Someone snatched my eye patch when I was napping earlier." Xigbar explained. "Mind helping me look for it?"

"Not at all." Larxene said, getting up.

"Now I was on the couch in the living room when it was stolen," Xigbar began to say as he completely came into the room. "And the only ones who go in there ar me and you, excluding us from this, Demyx, Axel, sometimes Roxas, Xaldin, and Vexen when hes watching the Science or History Channel."

"So that's basically Demyx and/or Axel." Larxene said.

"Which one ya taken?" Xigbar asked in a sigh.

"Axel." Larxene said. "Demyx annoys the pants off me."

"Good. I'm best at getting him to do what I want." Xigbar said, exiting the room. "Best of luck with him."

Larxene sighed, knocking on Axel's door.

"Yo, Red."

"Come in, blondy." Axel responded.

Larxene came in.

"So. Xigbar's eyepatch is gone. Do you have it?"

Axel was silent for a second, then said "Nope. Last time I checked, anyway."

"...Good enough for me." Larxene said, shrugging and leaving. She wasn't very invested in this search.

It was a while afterwards when Xigbar had returned to Larxene. "Demyx doesn't have it either." he sighed. "Who the hell would have it then!?"

"Maybe Vexen needed it for his new experiment?" Larxene sighed.

"For what?" Xigbar asked, confused why that would be so. "Does he plan to....I dunno, turn Namine into a pirate or something?"

"Who knows." Larxene said, going to check anyway.

Once she had reached the lab, the door with the hazard sign on it, she saw Vexen was exiting it. When he turned around and spotted Larxene, his face lit up.
"Ah, just in time." Vexen grinned. "I was just about to call you here."

"Why, do you need me to charge up your game boy again?" Larxene said sarcastically.

"I want you to meet a "new" someone." Vexen said. "Step into my lab, if you will."

Larxene stepped in, expecting something not all that impressive.
