A Crash and a Crinkle
 

Lemon Pie looked out of his window of the ponyville orphanage,much like everyday since he was brought here by the foal protective service.
But today something was different. Today instead of just bland blue sky there was a huge rainbow spanning acroos the sky. But not a normal everyday Rainbow. This Rainbow was special, because it went i a kind of zizag. This was so unusual, Lemon Pie decided to investigate it. So he left a note for the Matron and went to find the of the Rainbow.

"Woo-hoo!" Rainbow Dash screamed, zooming through the sky, ducking in and out of clouds and leaving a rainbow trail behind her. "And now..." She said to herself. "For the most daring, awesome stunt of all time... She spins! She zooms! She..." Crashes. Into a mountain. Hard.

Half an hour later Lemon Pie had finally found the end of the rainbow.It had been this obnoxious rainbow dash who always hurt herself when she tried out her tricks.
Normally he wouldn't have cared but the cut on her crotch looked rather bad and she was unconscious too.so he picked her up on his back and walked slowly and with shaking legs to the ponyville hospital.

Rainbow woke up in a hospital bed, her tail and hind legs hurting badly, the windows tinted. She was in her own bed, (she was in often enough that they kept a room available for her,) and could tell she had a deep cut running sideways on her back legs. Her tail was cut, in fact, even shorter than normal. "Hello? Anyone there?" She called, looking around.

Lemon had fallen asleep on a chair next to rainbow dash's bed. he wa lucky that there was only a puddle under the chair because obviously he was quite prone to have accidents day and nighttime.
As he heard rainbow's calling he woke up.
"yea me. i carried you all the way here by the way." he said as he just noticed his condition
"ohhhh ponyfeathers" he sighed

Rainbow noticed, but decided not to comment on his accident to show gratitude. "Thanks... Did you see my trick? Was it awesome?" She asked, clearly more concerned about her stunt then her major injury.

"well i only saw you crash against that mountain from afar. so i don't really now" he replied

"Oh..." Rainbow said, a little disappointed. "I can't wait to show it off once I get it right, the zig zag rainboom is gonna be amazing! It'll get me in the wonderbolts for sure!"

"well i should probably get back to the orphanage or big macintosh's plot would be white compared to mine."he sighed

"Orphanage?" Rainbow asked. "Don't you have parents or something? Mom? Dad?" She asked, feeling a bit of sympathy for the kid.
