The Guardian Angel (private)
 

Isabel Cain was a not your average fifteen year old, she was a for a lack of a better term a street rat. She stood 4'11" with dark reddish brown hair which barely covered her ears with green eyes athletic tone but she was a litte malnourished since she had no home and she only ate when she could steal an occasional apple or a loaf of bread from a street vendor or when she stole enough money to buy a meal. She started her day like most with a walk down main street scoping for any people worth pickpocketing. She saw a tall man with a tailored suit and a luxurious watch a prime target. With a slight of hand she covertly snatched his wallet and ran off but for some reason when she was halfway down the block she could hear the commotion she had caused her pace increased as she noticed the cop near by hoping she wouldn't be caught she was not going back to a Foster home.

"Ah, Got you!" Alexis Kaine grabbed the girl from the back of her shirt.
Alexis was 5'4 and a half. She had dirty blond hair and baby blue eyes.
"Now you're in for it!"

The back of Isabel's neck grew cold and her face grew hot, for the three years she has been on the streets today is the day she gets caught. "Hey let me go I've done nothing wrong "she said in protest she struggled to get free but she could not break her grip she settled down and relaxed hoping the officer would let her guard down giving her a window of escape.

"Oh yeah? Then what's this?" Alex took the wallet with the Man's ID in it

Realizing she was caught raising her hands "fine you got me, you stopped me from eating while who ever that is "as she looks at the ID "can go eat steak and lobster yes you are doing the right thing by arresting me. "She said in a dry and obviously sarcastic tone.

"Well, I could let you live with me, instead of going to one of those nasty foster homes. But if you're gonna be rude like that......."

As her stomach growled the cop's ultimatum started to sound better she stated in a annoyed tone "fine I'll stay with you anything to stay out of Foster care but I'm don't expect me to call you mommy or have that mother daughter bond but I will say thank-you for helping me out. "As she tried to look any were but her eyes as she tried to keep her tough girl facade up.

"Thats perfectly fine, sweetie. Now lets get you home." Alexis took the girl to her house. "Now I gotta get back to work, take a shower and theres a box of my daughters cloths when she was your age in the closet. Just don't break anything."

"Hey don't call me that I'm not some little girl ok."she said with a growl she began to shower it had been a while since she had had a legitimate shower afterward she took a look at her clothes that she was offered she grabbed a pair of dark jeans and convers sneakers with a yellow top but when walking into the hallway while putting on her top she bumped into an end table knocking down a picture of their family. "Today is just not my day. "She complained she then picked up the glass and set the picture in a safe place she noticed she had a small cut on her finger but paid no mind to it she has had worse.

Alexis got home about 3 hours later. "Isabel, I'm home. Did you knock anything over and break it by mistake?"
