Rainbow's Little Foal
 

(Private and note this is random at times and not well done just needed to get some ideals out of my head related to the set up aswell and not so related albeit something my rp partner came up with plot-twists its fairrly off track though)

Scootaloo was setting in a swing going back and forth glazing over at Derpy,Ditzy, Dinky, and Sparkler when she thought nopony would notice the look of longing on her face when she would look over at the family playing together. But theres one pony that will or already has noticed the longing look namely Rainbow Dash. Which that slip up of not realizing somepony caught Scootaloo with that look will eventually in afew days combined with a dropped book will lead to things Scootaloo has wanted for ages. But at the moment thats neither here-or-there.

Scootaloo sighed and looked up at the evening clouds with a rather odd look in her eyes as they're lacking the seemingly carefree or energetic feel to them. What the eyes lack proves it was a very strong longing but for what is the question most would ask and only afew ponies know what the biggest longing is for, even fewer knows the full extent of the matter and situation along with everything Scootaloo desires

Rainbow was lazily floating to the air. It wasn't Tuesday, so the town wasn't under attack, and weather patrol was taken care of. While she floated over the playground, she noticed Scootaloo sitting alone on the swings, watching Derpy and her family.

"What's squirt doing alone? Shouldn't she be with Applebloom and Sweetie right now?" Rainbow though aloud, hovering above the playground, a hoof to her chin.

Scootaloo upon hearing Rainbow Dash stiffened for the briefest of moments worried about if Rainbow could tell the glancing from that high or not but quickly returned to being relaxed ''They had other things to do ''Scootaloo didn't want to say much more as its things dealing with there family's and at the moment Scootaloo didn't trust herself not to sound jealous at that fact if she said that they had things to do with there family. Sure shes not the jealous type but at the moment her feelings on the matter was abit shot like it tends to be whenever she observes a family with kids even if the kid is getting a lecture for something bad they did it still tugs at her feelings.

Rainbow descended, concern on her face. "Squirt, are you, alright?" She asked, putting a hoof on Scootaloo's shoulder.

Scootaloo wasn't going to look in at Rainbow Dashs face as everything wasn't and shes going to lie to her idol and sister figure once again ''I'm fine nothing to worry about''It was about 1/3 truth everything else about that statement is a lie''I was just thinking before you showed up''That was fairly true as she tends to think of what if's,if only's and so on

Rainbow sat down on the swings set, looking at Scootaloo, sighing, "Alright Squirt, but if anything's wrong, you find me, alright?" She said, ruffling Scootaloo's mane, smiling slightly as she hovered.

(Yes that I'd do seeing as otherwise we'd have afew pages of filler posts till we got to the main ideal of the rp)

Afew Days later


Scootaloo hadn't sleep well ever sense what she told Rainbow Dash as for some reason it bothered her more then when she lied to her best friend. So when she finally got a good nights rest she had barely any time to slip from her the CMC club house that she had sleep in with her best friends Sweetie Bell and Applebloom.

Which was a strike of luck seeing as she would have been caught sleeping there otherwise with no viable excuse why she was there. Still she literally ran into Rainbow Dash halfway to school quickly saying sorry to Rainbow Dash before dart back onto School so shes not late. Though unnoticed by Scootaloo she lost her journal/diary in the crash and its open to a part talking about how she wished someone would be home to greet her along with other things family related . If Rainbow Dash reads the earlier entries along with ones after it'll clear up even more facts on Scootaloo,why shes evasive and abit odd acting at times among other secrets

"Urge. Hey, what's this?" Rainbow said, rubbing her head as she noticed the worn, dark brown journal. It looked to be made of Griffon-imported leather. She flipped through it. There was one entry that caught her eye, dated about four days ago.

"Dear diary,
I can't believe I lied to Rainbow like that! I just don't want her to worry about me. It's just, seeing Dinky and her family, it makes me wish mine was still around. My parents died at Karthwesten Station after a Griffon raiding party. The only things I have left of them are their armor sets, and a few pictures. Sometimes, I just wish Rainbow would take me in as her sister...then I could have a family again."

Rainbow closed the diary, jaw gaping. She held on it to, deciding to talk to Scoots at the end of the day. A few hours passed, and Rainbow waited outside the school for Scootaloo.

Scootaloo had been frantic and antsy all school day when she found out her diary was missing few afew reason but the biggest was a worry if Rainbow Dash got a hold of it. What the biggest worry on the matter is the entry's about Rainbow and the desires she has along with other things.

But that worry turned into horror the moment she noticed Rainbow Dash with the diary/journal outside the school house with fear running rampit. Another entry Rainbow likely read held how at times Scootaloo feels jealous about familys even at times related to her friends set up which is something she doesn't want loose. So she darted to Rainbow Dash most would think its because Rainbow is her idol which plays in her favor less ponys for less ponys wondering why she darted to Rainbow''Please tell me you didn't read any of it. Its very personnel after all ''Scootaloo said softly as she'd rather nopony hear that statement

"Sorry Scoots. I didn't know what it was. Even if I hadn't, I've noticed how you looked at Sweetie Belle and Applebloom's families. And how I've seen your folks." Rainbow said, putting a hoof on her shoulder. "How bout we talk to Twilight, see if I can adopt you as my awesome lil sister?" She smirked
