Next Step of Evolution
 

I have been pondering the evolution of man (which my mother would frown upon since we're Catholic) and have been wondering, whats the next step? Where do we go from here? Do we become a collective intellegence? Do we become harder? Better? Faster? Stronger? (Bad reference?) What is the next evolution of man?

I believe the next evolution is the end of the individual and the beginning of the collective. The Group Mind. The next step is the hive, a shared intellect, a common mind. No longer striving for individual wealth, but for the betterment of all mankind.

What do you think comes next? Tell me, I want to know.

Considering the large population of asians we all could become chinese, but wouldn't that be a step backwards? (Jusk kidding :D)

With the Chinese economy going good... and the American/EU economy going bad.

I want to see another pair of arms and some psionics. I am not a biologist or a god, so I have no idea what's in store for our future. We might sooner become extinct than advance from here.

one of my theories that thing that we see in comics and movies wil be the next step.

People that are under immense stress or in a dangerous situation, that were at the time of the event capable of superhuman strength(adrenaline is one thing but your body surviving the event without extreme damage is one thing)

obscenley intelligent people, like einstein and the such.


And those with psychic abilities(everything from seeing the future to sensing energies), would be some examples of the begining of this next step taking place.

Thats one of many, the collective mind is a very feasable one also, piffle.
