Haunted Mansion of Regression.
 

A full moon gazed over the town on its newest Halloween night. Most children were watching a halloween themed concert at the local concert hall while others were out trick or treating. But a constant was the Mansion in town, rumors had said it was built over a buried day care center, these rumors proved true but others were that the owner of the mansion was a ghost. The ghost was said to be of the original owner of the old day care center, children were said to disappear into the mansion and would never be seen again.

This was just a rumor but it was a scary rumor, already 6 children had disappeared and were never seen by their friends or parents ever again. This rumor had proven true, but those 6 children had been both mentally and physically regressed until they were newborn infants. That's when they were given to new families, the children had kept their memories though, a mercy but one they would not understand until years later.

Luke was with a group of his friends. He was just 14 years old and this was sort of going to be his last year trick or treating, if he was honest he really didn't want to do it this year but was sorta peer pressured into it. He was dressed up in a angel costume comleate with wings and halo resting on his head. He had platinum blond hair cut long on the sides and one side of his face, his left eye was bandaged up in a sort of diagonal dress that was mostly covered by his hair , he had never said why he covered it and no one had ever got him to say why or what he had behind it, eventually they had given up asking. His non covered eye was emerald green.

He was standing at the entrance to the house , he had been dared to go into it , becasue it just wouldn't be Halloween without some stupid dare to go into a scary place. His friends were a bit back and he was slowly edging his way towards the door. He pushed it open with a push and fell in as the door opened

Jacob, a 10 year old boy, dressed in a karate costume, complete with a black belt and headband followed him in. His mop of curly brown hair bouncing on his head as he strode on in. "So, here we are..uh..you don't really believe the rumors, do ya Luke?" He asked, having not grown out of such things as believing in ghosts and magic yet himself.

"so another pair dearest boys have come to visit my lonesome home" A sad voice says seemingly coming from nowhere and everywhere as the door shuts behind Luke and Jacob. Henrietta was aware she was dead, but she felt she still had to do her job as her Day Care Center was still standing, so using her power she drew the boys to the stairs to the Day Care Center. "I used to work here, and this was my life's dream where I was happiest, seeing all those little smiling faces made coming to work so wonderful" she says to the angelic boy. All who had come before him had failed to release her, and so Henrietta felt hope these boys could release her from her imprisonment, even in the place that made her happiest felt cold and lonely, just like a prison to her.

Luke whimpered "w-w-who's there!" he shouted out to the voice "g-g-good one guys , but it's not scaring me" he said puffing out his chest to tr and seem brave , thinking his was just a trick put on by his firends to scare him so didn't think anything of it. After all it only took a wikiapidia search to get that sort of information. He started to wander around the house "of course it's not , just a old house , there's no such thing as ghosts , just special effects like speakers and microphones." he said , his confidence swelling.

"I dunno l-Luke. That sounded pretty real.." Jacob said with a growing fear. "Can you..h..hear me? Wha..what do you want with us?!" He called out, fright in his tone.

When Henrietta had drawn the boys to her old center she decided this was far enough and manifested behind the two boys. Henrietta was a benevolent spirit and very loving as where ever she was the room warmed and any inside where taken by feelings of happiness and joy rather than cold and fearful. "I am Henrietta Drake" she said to the boys introducing herself "and what I want from you is a release, if you two can release me from my bondage to the physical world than the mansion and Day care center are yours. If I am released, please promise me you two will protect this place and keep it running" she pleaded desperately not wanting to see the place abandoned forever.

"And what if we can't release you, what then?" Jacob asked, calmed, but still on guard.

Luke wandered on , wondering why it was getting warm , but didn't thin anything of it. He was startled by the voice sounding so close , he turned around and flinched , jumping back "w-what!" he screamed , more overcome by the ghostly woman who had appeared behind him than what she was saying.

"The same question Thomas, Frank, Joe, Mikey, Sara, and Mia asked, and like them you'll get the same answer, you'll be regressed mentally and physically but your memories will be your own but a new born can't talk, but babble, and only this six know what the other is saying" she says. She than takes the boys to a room where children between ages 8 and 10 would play, there was a bathroom with only a sink and a changing table, and close by were packages of pull-ups training pants and disposable diapers. The Day Car Center was surprisingly modern except it lacked telephones and computers but there was active electricity heating, and decor.
