Mara was a cute little Eevee. She'd been traveling around for the past couple of months by herself after her mother said it was ok for her to travel. She wanted to see the sights and everything in the country. The large cities, the small towns, the forests and the landmarks. Though currently, she was a bit lost and tired. It was past dinner time and she was starting to get hungry. She knew she was on the edge of the forest, but didn't know where until she stumbled upon a house. She sighed as she saw civilization and rushed up to the house and knocked on the door. Hopefully whoever lived here would have directions to the next town.

Violet, a tall Gardevoir, opened the door. "Hello, who are you?" She asked the Eevee.

Mara blushed a bit as she looked up at the tall Gardevoir. "I-I'm Mara...I'm a bit lost and I"m just trying to get to the next town before it gets too dark. I don't mind sleeping outside but I really need to wash my fur...."

Violet smiled and beckoned to Mara. "Come on in then. I'll fix you some soup and get you a towel."

"A-are you sure? I mean I don't want to impose on you...." She replied, not wanting to say no to the kind lady but at the same time she was told by her mother to be careful with strangers. She was also taught to accept hospitality so....she didn't know what to do.

"No, it's no trouble." Violet went into the house to grab a towel.

Mara stepped inside, looking around. It was a rather nice house. "Y-You've got a nice house here..." She said, blushing a bit. She was actually around sixteen, but she looked like she was nine or ten since she was unevolved and adorable.

"Thank you." Violet set a bowl of tomato soup and a towel in front of Mara once she sat at the dinner table.

Mara sat down at the table and blushed a bit. The seats were comfy. She smiled though. "T-thanks for the soup ma'am..." She said politely, before starting to dig in.

"You're quite welcome. What're you doing out in the woods late at night?" Violet grabbed her own bowl of soup and began to eat.
