Powder puff for spreading baby powder
 

I always change my diapers all by myself and it's very hard to put the powder on with my own hands.

Instead I use a powder puff and it is so great.

Any experiences with powder puff?

I can't see using a powder puff on my crotch, I just use a washcloth to spread it, keeps my hand free of powder and isn't nearly as gay as using a powder puff.

Powder puff for baby powder is a standard practice in most Asian countries, by the way.

I handle my baby powder the same way Homer Simpson handles lighter fluid. I just keep squeezing the bottle until i'm covered and have made a big mess.

In retrospect, I need to rethink this strategy...

I don't use powder at all, which I suppose isn't the brightest plan..

I just sprinkle the powder. I don't want to be having a powder puff laying around that has been pushed into my crotch...

For baby oil, I just use my hands. Not sure why one wouldn't want to use their hands.

Well if you're changing yourself it tends to leave residue on your hands that's hard to get off, and if you're actually laying down while doing it it makes it even more awkward to clean your hands off after using your hands.

I just have a stigma about the tapes myself, I've got too many horror stories of tape failure.

I never have trouble cleaning my hands off - just have a cloth diaper lying nearby and wipe them off. Simple. If that doesn't work wipe them with a baby wipe and then dry them off. All it takes is remembering to have something else near when changing - you already have to have the diaper, wipes, and whatever there.

I'll tell you what IS hard to clean off though - diaper rash ointment.
