Rarity's Little Rainbow
 

“A little to the left…No my left…No!” Rarity winced as the construction ponies moved the new glass pane to align it with her window frame. The pegasi in hard hats moved the window pane over a bit as she stood on the ground micromanaging them. She had to buy a new window pane for her home after Rainbow Dash had crashed through the last one, again.

To say that Rarity was mad was an understatement. The often melodramatic unicorn was livid. Not only did the careless pegasus break her window, but she got glass all over her upstairs bedroom! This wasn't the first time Rainbow Dash had done something to irk the uptight unicorn. Just last month she ran through a mud puddle and dirtied Rarity's freshly styled mane.

So as Rarity stood outside of her home her mind was working a mile a minute to somehow teach the irresponsible Rainbow Dash a lesson. In fact she was so lost in thought that she ignored the construction crew above her.

Rainbow Dash, ever the dare devil, had screwed up once again. She watched as construction ponies fixed Rarity's boutique once again thanks to her crashing in to it. "You know I said I'd pay for it Rarity..." She replied, trying to play it down. She did have the finances to cover this thanks to her last gig as a fill in for the Wonderbolts. But today it seemed Rarity wasn't in the mood to hear anything Dash had to say.

She sighed sadly. "Ok fine what do you want me to do? I know I screwed up again! Just say something!"

Rarity was brought out of her internal mutterings by Rainbow Dash. She sighed. "Alright." She turned to Rainbow Dash. "You will pay for the window." She said to the pegasus as her mind concocted a scheme.

Rainbow Dash sighed in relief. At least one issue was dealt with. "I'll get you a check tomorrow....the bank has to approve any spending over five hundred bits so I won't splurge on something stupid. It's a nice check to have on yourself. Anyway....you know I'm sorry right?"

Rarity tried to hide her internal rage. "Yes dear. I understand. Accidents...happen." She tried to hide her eye twitch. She knew a bank would only do an approval method when the owner of the account had too many overdrafts in an account. It was just another thing that tipped off Rarity that maybe her friend wasn't very responsible. Rarity sighed.

It was true. In the past when she'd just graduated form flight school and barely managed to keep a job, she'd overdrawn her account a lot. Now with a steady job and bonuses from the Wonderbolts, she hadn't overdrawn in a long time. She still wanted to keep the restriction on herself though to prevent being stupid. Rainbow Dash was playing with the dirt at her feet. "I-is there anything else you want me to do?"

Rarity stopped and looked up and back at Rainbow. "Actually, there is something you can do for me. In fact it would be a great help." She smiled as she looked at Rainbow Dash. "I have a new line of clothing I need someone to model for me." She told her. "If you can model for me I will forgive the debt you owe." She smiled.

Rainbow Dash cringed at the idea modeling something for Rarity like that. "W-what kind of clothes would I be modeling? I mean I'm not one for fancy or frilly clothes. You know that I don't like wearing those things....I'd rather just pay for the window then."

Rarity glared at Rainbow Dash. "I don't think you're in the position to bargain with me. And trust me dear, they are more fitting outfits. Very comfortable and breathable. I'm sure you'll like it."

Rainbow Dash sighed. She could deal with breathable and comfortable. "Ok ok ok.....so I'll do that if you want me to ok?" She replied, rubbing the back of her head. "W-when do you want to start that?"
