In the outskirts of jump city, in the twilight between the day and the night before, a portal had opened. Out of it, stepped a short figure, dressed in a black and green body suit top , over which was an old, somewhat worn violet mantle, tightly wrapped around him, almost like a cloak, with only the chest left open . Thigh height Boots matching the suit could be seen when the bottom of the mantle moved, though otherwise it covered all, including the figure's face.

Raven was meditating in her room when a strong magical disturbance rocked her out of her trance. "What was that?" She asked, sitting up after she had fallen from her levitation.

As if to answer, an image of the figure flashed before her eyes. The figure himself, looking around. "..so, this is jump city way back then? ..what is he planning here? Why come here?" He murmered, as though attempting to figure out a puzzle.

Raven held her head as she saw the vision. "There's been some disturbance..." She muttered.

The figure began walking, as the portal closed behind him. Meanwhile, an alert that someone, or something was causing trouble in the city came to the tower.

Raven raced into the OPS room with the others. Robin informed them of someone downtown who was causing a ruckus and deployed them to the scene.

When they arrived they saw what seemed to be purple versions of trigon's demons, engaged with the figure, who was firing off various black constructs of animals.

"This is not good." Beast Boy muttered before shifting into a tiger to take them on.
Starfire alit her starbolts and fired.
Cyborg used his sonic cannon to fire and Robin used his bo staff.

Raven was motionless, she felt sick as she watched this unfold before her.

The figure did a flourish, blasting away a group of the creatures, before floating into the air. "Azarath.." Almost inaudibly, he began to chant.

Raven's eyes went wide. "No..." She muttered, using her magic to form a barrier around him. "Stop this!" She yelled.
