DigiDestined For Diapers (For OriginalDL)
 

Rika, a digitamer and one time digimon queen, partnered with Renamon, who complimented Rika's personality, was just heading home through the quiet streets of Tokyo. Sure there were some people and cars out, but not at this time of night, she was just doing her rounds checking to see if any other digimon appeared that she could fight and defeat. A crash of distant thunder alerted her to a coming storm but it didn't phase her in the least, she and Renamon had faced down many digimon, including those that had come to earth. The team Rika had reluctantly joined had done their fair share of digital world adventuring and Rika just thought back to those times, but she shook those thoughts from her head as she reached the town's most popular park.

Right now it was empty, and that was a blessing for Rika, she and renamon made their way to a shelter, Rika thought back to the most infamous digimon her partner and herself had faced. Most of them had tried to kidnap her, and one of them succeeded and had practically babied Rika to the point of infancy before Renamon had saved her, Rika shuddered at the thought.

Jeri was out walking around. She normally didn't stay out this late, but one of her friends needed her help at their house. Currently, she was walking on a fairly empty street when she saw one of her friends walking down the street.

"Hey, Rika!" Jeri called out. She ran over to her friend and decided to accompany her while walking home.

Rika looked in the direction of the voice that called her name "oh, it's Jeri" she said softly in her usual, indifferent and unfeeling tone, "I wonder what you want now" she asks.

"I was just walking around when I saw you." Jeri said with a smile, "Want to walk together? It'd be less lonely this way."

Rika shrugged "I don't care either way, I was never into group stuff anyway, except those having to team up against this digimon or other with those boys" she says.

"Alright!" Jeri exclaimed happily, "Let's get going. Where's your house again? I think it's closer to her than mine is."

Rika took Jeri a few blocks north and than to a small suburb and up to her grandmother's house where she lived quietly "I don't know why you're out right now, but I was just doing what I usually do, and what I've always done" she says.

"I was helping a friend with some of her homework." Jeri said, "It took a while and she wouldn't let me leave until she was all done."

Rika nodded and opened the door and took off her coat and shoes "well I don't think she could do any better than you've done lately" she says and goes up to her room to relax.

"Probably." Jeri said. She checked her phone and was shocked at the time it already was. "Hey, would your mom care if I stayed over tonight?" Jeri asked, "I'm not sure I feel comfortable knowing exactly how late it is now."
