Reraising Tai Lung (RP with Mardozer35)
 

Master Shifu had to sigh as he saw Po carry Tai Lung's body into the Jade Palace...The Wuxi Finger-Hold was not a technique to be taken lightly and the results of it on Tai Lung were clear as he was still unconscious even hours after the battle had been complete between him and Po....

Shifu looked over Tai Lung's body before memories came flooding back to him of how he raised Tai Lung....The good moments and the bad....

'I know where I went wrong with Tai after all these years...What I would give for a second chance with my son...' Master Shifu thought to himself when the idea suddenly popped into his head like Po eating a dumpling.

He had his second chance right in front of him, all he needed to do was take it and so Shifu said to Po, "Follow me" and quickly headed off towards his private quarters

Po still carrying Tai Lung followed him as best as he could until they reached a room in Shifu's private area that once was Tai Lung's bedroom a long time ago...

Master Shifu instructed him to lay Tai Lung down on the ground and once he did so had Po head back to the village to assist in the reconstruction...

Shifu soon got to work undressing Tai Lung until he was as bare naked, not the first time that Shifu had seen him like this, and it would definitely not be the last time...

Shifu then grabbed a chest that was hidden underneath the floorboards and opened it to reveal baby clothes for Tai Lung, but what Shifu was focusing on was the cloth diapers in them that could still fit Tai Lung, and so Shifu took them and dressed Tai Lung in them while he was still knocked out.

Once that was done, it was on with mittens to keep Tai Lung from using his claws and Master Shifu was about to leave until he remembered a stuffed Panda Bear that Tai Lung had when he was younger was still in the chest.

Master Shifu took the stuffed Panda out of the chest and laid it with Tai Lung and was more than surprised to see Tai Lung unconsciously cuddle up next to the stuffed panda.

He had to smile to himself and thought to himself, 'I'll be a better father to you this time Tai Lung' and soon enough left the room to meet with the Furious Five and Po to inform them just what was going to happen with him and his son....

Tai Lung remained asleep on the floor of Shifu's hidden room as the furious five and Po were out rebuilding the town after all of the damage that the had caused. Snake was holding things together in her coils for them to be hammered back together, Tigress was helping jam poles back in the ground, Crane was laying roofing, Po was putting up walls, Monkey was filling in holes in the ground and mantis was hitting in nails

Master Shifu went over to assist Tigress in jamming poles in the ground and in order to tell her just what he had planned....

Tigress was about to toss more poles in the air when she saw Shifu walk over "Hello Master" she said

"Hello Tigress" Master Shifu said and saw the progress she made with the poles and said, "I see you've been making good progress"

Master Shifu then took several of the poles that she had yet to put back into the ground and soon tossed them up in the air and jammed them down themselves

She nodded "There is much to do after the battle, I figured getting the light poles up would be good"

Master Shifu nodded at that as he continued to jam poles into the ground as Tigress did the same before saying, "Tigress how much do you know of how Tai Lung was when he was younger?"

"I know he was not much more then a young cub who you took in and raised like a son, but when it came time for Ugway to see if he was right for the dragon warrior, he was turned down, and went on a rampage" she said

"That was what happened, Tai Lung was my son in all ways except biologically." Master Shifu said as he looked at Tigress as he finished placing the final pole.

"I made several mistakes as I raised him, I was looking for peace and was blinded by my pride in just how good he was. I made him believe that becoming the Dragon Warrior would be his destiny, of course now I know that it was going to be Po." Master Shifu said as he moved to the top of the pole he had planted and looked over at Po who was helping Mantis fix the walls to a restaurant that he and Tai Lung had wrecked.

"Tigress, let's say you were in the position in which you were given a second chance to right a grievous wrong, what would you do?" Shifu asked Tigress as he climbed back down to her level

"Well Master, it depends on the severity of said wrong, but, if it was grave enough, I would go to any length to make right what I had done" she said
