Mission Trapped (For WittleNicky)
 

T'was broad daylight outside in the world of pokemon. There was an Axew, who wore and defense scarf, with his friend, and fellow explorer, a shiny Charmander. Both were in a single exploration team and both were on a mission to go take down two outlaws at once. It didn't seem too bad really, but they didn't have a single clue about what was in store for them. It didn't exactly help that they were going inside of some forest that was so dark inside that the Charmander's tail was going to basically be their only light source here. They were both currently standing their at the entrance.

"So...are you ready to do this?" The Axew asked a little quietly, feeling somewhat shy, and afraid, of all of this. This was sort of the first mission they would be doing where they were taking down two outlaws, both of which were basically tougher than they were. Maybe if they just fought smarter, and not harder, things would go better and not fall flat for both of them.

The Shiny Charmander, who was wearing an ordinary scarf is staring deep at the entrance of the hideout where those outlaws are said to be hiding out at, quite nervous on thought of what awaits them in it. He snapped out of it and looks to his fellow partner of an Axew.

"I-I think so...yeah...m-maybe." He responded which he nodded frantically before looking at the entrance again. First mission on the job and already he is this scared, considering the outlaws are pretty tough. But how tough is the problem, since its odd to hide out among the wilds out here.

"Alright then..." The Axew said before taking a few steps forwards. "You have to lead the way, remember? They said this place is pretty dark and that we're going to need a light source and...well, you're sort of our only light source here." He said as he waited for his partner to go ahead and start doing just that.

Whenever the Charmander did that, he would follow after him, closely, not wanting to get snatched in the darkness. "This place is ridiculously dark..." He muttered with a slight frown as he looked around.

"Ooh right. Err, sorry.." The shiny replied which he went on ahead of the Axew, holding his fire tail closely and in his paw like a torch of some sort in that manner. "I..I know. And a good thing too, i guess." He added before sighing. "So long as we don't run into any water.."

He kept leading through the darkness which he looked around concerned. "I know. I-Its creeping out somehow like...something could be watching us.." He said shivering nervously.

"I have a feeling that all comes with the job..." Axew muttered with a bit of an uneasy feeling himself. He did sort of feel like they were being watched, but to the extent of the same person was watching them no matter where they went. "Maybe you should try to light the place up a little more, you know, fire a flame thrower in a random direction and see what's around us."

Shiny looked around for a bit with even more chills running through him on the feeling of it, he looks to his companion and gulped. "Err...i'm kinda rusty on that move but..okay. Here goes." He replied to him before inhaling deeply and exhales a stream of fire out of his mouth only to cough out some backfiring sods afterwards.

Axew blinked as he stood there, watching is friend hack and cough. "Um...Okay, nevermind, lets just keep going. I-I have a feeling we've been in the same spot for too long already." With that said, he decided to start pushing his friend, gently, along, while occasionally looking back for a moment to make sure they weren't being followed. "This place is also pretty quiet too..." He commented after a while.

(Feel free to take the initiative whenever you want. Just for future reference, you know, to avoid me controlling everything in a sense.)

Shiny eeped when he is pushed along after coughing, deciding to walk while looking around for a moment. "M...Maybe too quiet." He added only to eep when he was startled by something the dark that moved. "I think I saw something!" He exclaimed waving his tail around frantically for some being.

(I know, just can't think of any at the moment till a certain time or so )

When he suddenly stopped and started waving his tail around, Axew also froze up and looked around in fear. "W-What did you see!?" He asked him in an equally frantic tone. "W-Was it big? Small? What?" He asked him while standing a little closer to his partner with a frown on his face.

"I think it was big! ANd had! Had a...something part of it!!" Shiny exclaimed while frantically looking around before yelping when some being ran past them very fast. "AHH! There it was again, only it passed by us!!" Of course little does he and his partner know that they are caught in an illusional trap.
