Ash Ketchum was currently traveling home from finishing the Kalos League, the place he made didn't matter since he had fun nonetheless, but after depositing all of his Pokemon besides Pikachu he was heading towards the closest town to get some rest as he made the long walk to the closest airport to return to Kanto.

Little did Ash know, he was currently being watched by certain enemies of his as he made it to a nearby town in search of somewhere to sleep...

"See anywhere we could stay buddy?" Ash asked Pikachu.

"Pika..." Pikachu shook his head as he eyed houses owned by people who he doubt would take a stranger in. He began to worry as it was close to sunset...

From behind a few bushes, Jessie was watching Ash as he was walking. Finally, the little twerp was completely alone without any companions whatsoever. As well, from what she could see, Ash only had his Pikachu on him. And while Pikachu was indeed a formidable opponent, she was sure that she would be able to make quick work of him if they took him from surprise, which was the current plan. She turned back to her partner in crime James, and smiled.

"The twerp is right there for the catching! We need to get started quick! Afterwards, we can put our new plan into action..." Jessie said, referring a revenge plan that she, James, and Meowth had come up with a few days prior.

James nodded and smirked, knowing what she meant and ready to get this stated.
"Of course! Now all we need is our disguises, and our plan is ready to go." he said as he reached into a bag and pulled out three disguises: a Nurse Joy costume, an Officer Jenny costume, and a Chansey costume.

Meowth snickered and slipped on the Chansey costume.
"That twerp won't know what hit him!"

Ash sighed as he continued walking, close to giving up...
"This is hopeless... where are we gonna find a place to stay? I don't even see a Pokemon Center anywhere..."

"Pika..." Pikachu groaned.

Jessie smiled as she got her Nurse Joy costume on, complete with a little hat.
"I'm not sure how he keeps falling for these disguises after so long." she commented.

"Does it matter? Why question something that just works? That's bad luck, you know." James said as he put on the Officer Jenny costume...having no qualms with doing so.
"Now then, let's go pay him a little visit."

The three slowly make their way towards Ash and call out to him.

Ash turns to the trio and smiles seeing a Nurse Joy.
"Nurse Joy! I'm so glad to see one of you! Umm, I thought you all had pink hair?"

Jessie eyes widened for a moment, but she quickly calmed down.
"I got a dye job. Thought it would make me easier to identify." she lied, hoping that it would work out.

Ash smiled, buying the lie.
"Cool! About time some of you decided to be different! Oh, is there a nearby Pokemon Center I can stay at?"

Jessie nodded as she looked back to Meowth and James in disguises. They seemed to be ready, so she looked back to Ash and nodded her head.
"Of course we do! I wouldn't be here if we didn't." she said.
"Now come with me, Ash. It's just this way." She pointed to the forest infront of him, seeming,y with no path there.

Ash shrugged and nodded, following Jessie happily.

Pikachu was a bit suspicious, but followed Ash nonetheless.

Meowth smirked as he stayed close behind Pikachu, ready to launch the current trap they had planned for containing the rat.

James walked in the Forrest, keeping a close eye out for the trap. He looked to the side and saw a pile of Cheri berries, which he had set up before to be bait for Pikachu. Once the Pokemon got close, an electric-proof cage would pop up and snag it!
"Oh, look. A small pile of berries..."

Jessie stopped to look at it and smirked.
"Oh yeah, they look pretty fresh too."
