Real Talk: Why is it so hard for people to catch on that I'm not straight?

Ok so if you all have talked to me or read my info on my page and such you'd all know I'm a lesbian AND I'm spoken for....so let me ask you this. Why is it so hard for some guys to pick up on it? I mean I don't hide it at all and I even hold hands and kiss jen in public yet in the last week or so I've been hit on by quite a few guys. its odd to e honest. Its like theyy all found out I was getting married and THEN started hitting on me. So anyway let me ask you all this. In your opion are people really that dense nowadays or do I some how seem straight to them or something?

Well first off, as a guy irl, I do sincerely apologize for the idiots. But that's just it, many guys are absolute idiots, driven by sex more than anything else, not to mention that to most guys lesbians are incredibly hot, sorry if it seems inappropriate to say, but it's the truth. I mean, if we can't get most guys off of catcalling like it were an appropriate thing to do (a guy did it to my sister in a McDonald's drive through the other day) what's to stop them from following their little heads and trying anyway?

First of all, no one here should be giving you any trouble like what you described (It's basically harassment). If they do, just PM Xero or any one of the admins and let them handle it. It's true that some heterosexual people (Men especially) do find lesbians fascinating and sexually exciting (Some straight girls even experiment at college). This popular notion is reflected in the general media as the following clip from an episode of American Dad entitled "My Morning jacket" demonstrates (Stan Smith gets excited and wants in on the action as Francine Smith kisses a lesbian guard at a concert but is denied access [I don't mean pass the door!] - See position starting at 0:59) -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxDzzmV7poI. It's just human nature to want that which we can never have (That goes for anyone no matter what their gender and sexual orientation). There's nothing wrong with a little friendly flirting or play between curious, consensual singles (No matter what their gender and sexual orientation) as long as both parties understand that nothing ultimately will come from it. It's only when the situation is (From the start) or eventually is non-consensual that it becomes a problem.

However with the situation that you described, it is more of a matter of respect (Or rather, lack of) towards you coming from the trolls that are harassing you. You have made it clear that you are already taken and thus "Off limits" to all others no matter what their gender and sexual orientation. Those trolls do not respect your soon-to-be marital status and are just looking for a feeding (Your mental anguish is just delicious food for their bellies). Don't feed the trolls with your replies - Just ignore them and let the admins deal with them.

The actual issue is in real life my friend. No one on hear has been mean yet.

Well I can honestly say YES people really are that dense both men and women. We have a very high amount of ignorant people in many large countries these days where they only look for their next hook up and don't bother to actually understand who the person is or even care. It's just sad, because I like to know someone mentally and emotionally before knowing them physically and I can't seem to find anyone my age that agrees with me on that.

Oopsie! Sorry about that. The first two sentences in your OP kind of threw me off. My bad - I need to re-adjust my optical sensors and run a diagnostic on one of the processors in my old Dual Core CPU (Either the processor on the left side or the one on the right side of my electronic brain casing is starting to age (See "Brain" in the folllowing -> http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...-downhill.html. The face opposite the baby's face looks like that of Patrick Stewart's [Captain Picard on Star Trek: TNG]!) but what I've previously stated (Other than contacting Xero), still applies (I'll add that it is given that some people are dense enough not to get a clue but reiterate also that some heterosexual people find lesbians fascinating and sexually exciting - Perhaps so much so that they don't even care if they disrespect the fact that you're already taken [As evident by you holding hands and kissing Jen in public]). Again, if someone is harassing you [in public] then just ignore them. If they won't stop then tell them to back off or you'll call the cops on them. If they still continue on then either call for (Or if you're lucky enough, find) a uniformed police officer and let him or her deal with the situation. Just as there are trolls online, there are also trolls IRL but they for the most part cower before any sign of authority. You could also buy a loud, metal Police whistle attached to a lanyard chain to use as last resort if the police take too long to arrive at your location -> http://cdn.opentip.com/Sports-Outdoo...FckfhgodW50K1A. The whistle should make an ear piercing sound when aimed at a harasser that usually sends the harasser running away in the opposite direction and draws the attention of anyone nearby your vicinity. In any case, I think that the majority of the harassment should cease once you clearly display your wedding ring or band on your ring finger especially when you're alone. BTW, don't get anything too fancy otherwise you'll be attracting another set of undesirable people.
:o ;)

I will say it is true most guys find lesbians sexually exciting, but any guy with common sense will try to keep his distance before making a move. I am a guy and for some reason have made two married lesbians love me, but i think guys need to know when is the right time to try and talk to a girl. Also, terminator, reading your posts fries my brain.

If you were trying to insult the intelligence of everyone here, Houndoom, you should have done a little research beforehand! What you said could never have happened. Lesbians are homosexual women who have absolutely no interest whatsoever romantically or sexually towards men, as Cyrille can confirm! They might show platonic love towards men but definitely not love in the form of sex. This attitude was clearly displayed in the American Dad episode clip with Stan, Francine and the lesbian concert security guard. If anyone else still needs more evidence to be convinced then check out what Mayahuskee, a lesbian at dA!, wrote in her guide entitled "Label Me Lesbian: A Guide to Types of Lesbians". Pay particular attention to what she says in point 4:

Hmm... That was not my intention. However in my future posts, I will try to "Dumb things down" to your level so that whatever still remains of your brain doesn't get fried as well!
:D ;)

BTW - If you were also trying to elicit some mental anguish from me by trying to discredit the advice that I gave Cyrille by acting(?) like an online troll with your unwarranted, lame comment then you failed! Cyrille is upset enough with her situation concerning the trolls IRL harassing her that she feels compelled to write a thread asking for people's help via their opinions and advice. I have successfully dealt with trolls (e.g. Hecklers and bullies) both online and IRL in the past so, give it a rest!

terminator, I do believe you misread his post entirely and acted rather hostile about it... just saying

Houndoom September 28th, 16 01:53 AM

By no means am I trying to troll. I was simply stating my own personal. But I am serious, they told me that they love me. I know at least one of them love me.
