The Bunny Dilemma (private)
 

Nick was walking down the hallway of the hospital with a bouquet of flowers in hand, he was in his regular clothes as he understandably asked for the day off to visit his partner who was injured in the line of duty. It happened literally only yesterday where he and Judy did a routine drive through Tundra Town, but after catching some thugs stealing from a coffee shop, one of them managed to get away. However Judy being the headstrong officer she is went after the perp, only to end up slipping down an extremely steep icy slope that left her hospitalised.
Nick growled to himself as he felt he should have stopped her, but he soon arrived at her door and sighed as he opened it.
"Judy? You there carrots?"

Judy was lying in her hospital bed and was sitting up in the bed and was looking at the badge from her uniform with a sigh as she couldn't believe she had let this happen all in one chase, she also had a new little secret hidden under the covers of her bed and her ears perked up and blinked as she heard the door opening and adjusted her covers a bit as she looked over at who was coming in and recognized Nick's voice "Oh, hey Nick" she said as it was a bit awkward for the moment seeing him as they both knew that they had a relationship deeper than just partners or friends

Nick smiled wide and placed the bouquet on a nearby chair, he walked up to Judy's bed and kissed her on the cheek.
"I'm so sorry this happened... I failed you as a partner, in more ways than one." He held her hand tight as he began to cry.

Judy glared at him a bit after he had said that "Nick, look up at me" said and once he did, she slapped him in the face "don't you dare say you failed me, it was my own fault I got in that accident, I was the one that chased, i was the one that got reckless, you had nothing t do with it, and I'll be back to normal in no time, alright?" she asked and then kissed him on the cheek right where she slapped him, yup, girls were complicated

Nick rubbed his cheek and smiled wide.
"That's my girl, tough as nails and sharp as them too. So I spoke to the chief, he's willing to give you paid leave while they interrogate his buddies for info. Apparently all they swiped was a rare kind of coffee bean that is foreign even to Zootopia. Guess they thought they could make a quick buck huh?" Nick laughed as he chatted with Judy.

Judy giggled a bit and remained mostly still in her bed, hoping a nurse wouldn't come in to check on her as she wanted to keep a little something secret for awhile longer "Good, hopefuly that's all they wanted" she said

Nick nodded and was concerned a bit.
"Need anything? Pillow fluffed, some juice, do you need to go to the bathroom?" He asked.

She giggled a bit "Easy there foxboy, I'm good, it's nice to just sit and chat with you after sleeping so much" she said

Nick chuckled and sat down in a chair.
"Sorry carrots, you know I'm just worried about you. By the way, what did the doctor say about your injuries? Anything permanent?" He asked worriedly.

Judy shook her head "Nothing permanent, though I am going to have to take it easy for awhile, gotta adjust to the treatments and heal up" she said avoiding her new temporary condition she would also have to adjust to
