Cinder Fall's Redemption
 

It was dusk and notorious criminal Cinder Fall was searching through the black markets of Mistral, trying to find any and all information relating to the silver eyed warriors. Cinder was currently travelling alone having gotten some usage of her voice back from training with Salem and her magic and her usage of the maiden's power had also gotten better due to her training. As she walked along the dusty trail leading to the next village over, Cinder took some time to take in her surroundings and marvelled at the sheer beauty of it all. Surrounding Cinder were wide open, green fields as far as the eye could see. And with no trees in sight, it was good tactical position for Cinder too, as nobody could sneak up on her. Cinder was so caught up in her own thoughts that she wasn't paying attention to what was in front of her and ran into someone as result causing her to fall backward into a puddle left over from the previous days rain. Cinder grunted as she fell backwards and landed on her bum into the puddle, ruining her dust infused dress, she looked up at the person with the harshest glare she could muster, ready to burn them to a crisp for the offence but, when she looked up at the face of the person who she had bumped into, the similarities between the woman's face and her own, startled her so much that she just sat there in increasingly wet clothes and stared.

"C-Cinder?" Amber Fall asked, her golden eyes widened. Appearance wise, she looked like an early 40's version of her daughter, but with longer hair. "Sweetie?' she helped her up, and tearfully embraced her daughter.

"Wh-Who are you?! How do you know my name!" said Cinder as she sputtered in the woman's embrace. In any normal situation Cinder would have burned anyone who even tried to touch her to a crisp but, for some reason, she just couldn't bring herself to hurt this woman. What was even weirder was that instead of blasting this woman to kingdom come, her arms automatically wrapped themselves around her to return her embrace. "W-What did you do to me?!" Cinder yelled at the woman as she slowly backed away from her holding her head in pain, Cinder only got two steps away from the woman before she screamed loudly in pain and fell to her knees.

"Cinder, its me, your mom!" Amber said. She held Cinder close. "W-what's wrong?"

"My-my Mom?! MY MOM IS DEAD! SHE'S BEEN DEAD FOR YEARS! SHE WAS KILLED BY OZPIN!!" Cinder yelled, struggling to escape this woman's embrace. Cinder was in a lot of pain, too much to escape this woman's embrace but, she still had command of her semblance so she summoned a glass spike and held it to the woman's neck. Cinder ground her teeth against the pain and said "I don't know who you are lady but, your not my mother and if you don't tell me what you did to me right this instant, I'll kill you with this spike of glass." Cinder went to poke the woman with it just to show she was serious but her hand wouldn't obey her, it was like her own aura was fighting against her 'What the hell is going on?!' Cinder thought with a frown.

(I hope you don't mind the fact that I'm making up the fact that a person's aura won't allow them to kill their parents. If it bothers you I'll come up with something else.)

"That isn't true. Whatever that bitch Salem did to you, told you, is a lie." Amber stared her daughter down."Please, listen to mommy." she said softly, tearing up

Cinder growled and went to drive the glass spike into the woman's neck and kill her right then and there but, as soon as she made that decision, the glass spike just shattered to dust in her hand. Cinder just stared at her hand in shock 'What? Why is my semblance fighting me? why can't I kill this woman?! I just don't understand?' Cinder thought in utter confusion. Cinder was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't hear much of anything that the woman had to say however, when she said to word "mommy" something clicked within her and she started to feel a warmth from within herself that she hadn't felt in a long time and she looked into the woman's eyes in shock. Cinder was just about to explore this warm feeling when pain erupted from her head again, this time much worse than any pain she'd ever felt before. The pain that cinder was feeling was so terrible that she screamed as loud she could before she fainted and wet her self in the process, completely soaking the thin padding she was wearing underneath and falling forward into the woman's arms.

"Please be OK." Amber prayed. She took Cinder back home, and cleaned her up. "Somethings never change." she smiled at the padding. Amber changed her daughter into clean clothes and a fresh diaper. She tucked Cinder into her old crib, as she watched over her

Cinder awoke feeling dizzy and with a slight pain in her head. Cinder shut her eyes tightly and groaned at the slight pain and the bright light in the room before looking down and away from the light and slowly peaking her eyes open. The first thing she saw was a light yellow dress that didn't quite reach her knees under which she was wearing a white shirt and, by how far apart her legs were spread without there being any restraints, Cinder guessed that she was wearing a much thicker diaper than the one she wore previously for when she was travelling. When she looked up, Cinder saw white bars, whose top Cinder could probably only reach if she stood on the tips of her toes. Finally she looked out past the bars and saw the woman from before, and did what any normal person would do in this situation, scream and ask questions. "Where are we?! Who are you?! Why am I in a cage?! where did these clothes come from?! and why is my diaper so thick?" Cinder yelled as she also started to hyperventilate, clearly having a bit of a panic attack at the unfamiliar surroundings and not remembering the conversation she had with this woman before.

"I'm you're mother, and you're in your old crib Cinder." Amber explained. "When you passed out, you soaked right through your diaper.' she caressed her daughter's forehead
