Repression and Regression Revisited (private)
 

Starfire flew as fast as she could but she could feel the darkness creep up behind her. As fast as she could fly it creeped faster behind her. She could feel it tickle at her ankles and slowly start to consume her.

The Tamerianian princess jolted up in bed with a start. She breathed heavily as sweat beaded down her face. "X'hal..." She cursed and held her head. She could feel the wet sheets beneath her as she curled up in the fetal position. It was the third time this week that she had the same nightmare. And it always ended the same. With her waking up in a wet bed.

Raven was off, meditating in her her own room but had a slight smirk as she felt the girl awaken once more. It was rather unkind of her, but she had recently been giving Starfire nightmares to turn Robin off to her due to wetting herself. She hoped the girl would come for advice soon. She had been reading up on some of her old magic books and had been learning more and more advancrd spells pretty much nightly

Like the previous nights Starfire gathered her bedding up and floated out of her room and to the washroom. Surely there has to be something she could do. She pondered her options as she put the sheets in the washer.
Asking Robin for help was out of the question. He would probably be disgusted with her and never ask her out! The color drained from her face at that thought. Beast Boy would simply laugh at her and make fun of her and Cyborg wouldn't understand.
Like a lightbulb flickering on, Starfire realized who she could turn to for help. Raven! The witch would surely know what to do! It seemed she always knew what to do!

Raven felt the change in the girl, due to being an empath, and knew she was coming. She opened the door as soon as she felt Starfire outside and smiled, knowing she couldn't make Starfire think she was just awoken by her due to her nightly meditation being common news. "Hey, what's going on Starfire? I feel a bit of distress coming from you?"

Starfire jumped a little at the fact it seemed like Raven was expecting her. "Friend Raven, I could use your expertise in a...matter." She stammered a bit, feeling a blush come to her cheeks. She didn't know what to say really. As far as Starfire knew, the only earth people who had this bedwetting problem were small earth children who haven't quite grasped the idea of using the toilet.

"Oh yeah? Whats going on Starfire?" She lead her friend into her room and closed the door. "You know we can talk about anything, you're not human so you don't know that much about our culture. Its fine. So tell me whats up." Shw semi demanded, setting Starfire next to hrr on her bed

Raven's presence and almost domineering nature seemed to calm her as she sat on the bed next to her. "Raven I have been having...mares of the night..." She hoped she got the word right for terrifying dreams. "And I believe they have been...affecting me..." She diverted her gaze away from the empath and blushed, embarrassed by the event.

"Nightmares? You mean like bad dreams? How have they been affecting you, Star?" She asked as if completely ignorant to the accidents Starfire had been having. She rubbed Starfires back supportively. Sure, she was doikg this to divert Robins attention, but she certainly wouldn't mind some of Starfires attention either...

Starfire sniffled and didn't make eye contact with the empath. "I have been...how you say...wetting the bed." She blushed, embarrassed.

"O-oh my. I'm sorry about that Starfire" Raven replied as if shocked "While I don't really have anything that would fix this... I do have at least a mitigating solution though you may not like it..." she reached under her bed and pulled out a pack of night diapers "I've always kept these around in case my magic starts affecting me but you need them more..."
