A Matter Of Trust-Avatar RP (w/ Legends di Angelo)
 

At this moment, Lady Ursa, the recently-return matriarch of the Fire Nation, was sitting in the throne room. She had returned, hoping to rebuild her relationship with her family. Of course Zuko went for that, but she also wanted Azula in the picture as well. She had arranged for her release from prison for a special rehabilitation program of her own design. She sat as the doors opened, with guards escorting Azula. "Hello there, Azula."

“Brother!” She snapped, the look of a broken crazy soul in her eyes

Ursa sighed. "Zuko said you and I should talk first before you see him again." She sat down with her daughter. "I missed you both so much."

“Well how gracious of my prince.” She scuffs before spitting at her mothers feet

"Azula, I want you to understand that I never wanted to leave you or your brother. If I could, I would've brought you both with me. But that would've been a death sentence, especially if I had taken you in particular."

“Because I’m mommy little monster, right?” She asked already knowing the answer, “You always geared me because you knew that I’d end up like Father.

"No, because your father wouldn't have stopped at nothing to pursue us if I had taken you," Ursa stated. "I did worry about you ending up like him, and I knew it was happening. He ripped you from my side and made it so I had precious little to do with raising you. Zuko turned out differently because of my involvement with him. I wanted that to be the case with you."

She began to tear up and tried to hug Azula.

“Then you should of taken him.” She spat, “Father was never truly going to give the thrown to the spineless coward anyways!”

Ursa sighed. "Azula, I want to build bridges. I want the three of us to be a family again. To give you a second chance at the childhood I wanted you to have."

“Pfft.” She scoffed, “So you can ignore me once more and shower your perfect child, why would I agree to that?”
