A Great War against the evil forces of Dr Ivo Robotnik had finally came to a conclusion. The Freedom Fighters, with luck on their side, were able to push back Robotniks Army, forcefully the scientist to surrender. With the war now over, Queen Aleena wouldn't have to worry about the future of her children.

We fast forward a few years later to find Sonic, Sonia, and Manic as toddlers living in the comfort of the castle with their mother.
