The young witch Kiki had recently completed her one year of living in the city to hone her skills. Needless to say, she enjoyed her experiences immensely, and there was a certain sadness of leaving it behind, but she was definitely glad to be home.

Her parents Okino and Kokiri were there to greet her when she returned. They smiled and outstretched her arms as she landed on the ground.

"It's good to be back," Kiki said, hugging them.

"It's good to have you back, sweetie," Kokiri said as she embraced her daughter, "So, how was your year out in the world?"

"There were a lot of wonderful things that happened, and some hardships along the way. But overall, I came out of it having learned a lot about myself."

"That's wonderful, sweetie," said Kokiri. Okino then smirked and remarked "I don't suppose you found yourself a boyfriend, as well, did you?"

"Well...I believe that I have."

That caught her parents' attention. "Oh, really? Tell us about him."

Kiki proceeded to describe Tombo to them.

Based on her description, he sounded like someone they would both approve of. "When can we meet him?"
