Having just graduated from Yokai Academy, Tsukune Aono was back home with his parents. At this time, he was in his room, lounging.

His mother, Kasumi, knocked on his door. "Tsukune?"

The Shinso vampire sat up on his bed and looked over at the door. "Yeah, Mom?" he called out.

"I just wanted to see if you needed anything."
|
"I'm good at the moment," he called out, "Unless you'd just like to talk for a while."

Kasumi nodded. "I'd be happy to talk with you, dear."

After Kasumi sat down beside him, Tsukune stated "So, how have you and Dad been lately?"

"Things are fine," she stated. "We are still trying to get used to how things are now."
|
Tsukune chuckled. "I know. It must come as a bit of shock to have a shinso vampire as your son. And for him to have like five or six girlfriends."

Kasumi giggled at that. "Sometimes I look back and wonder, where did my baby go?"
