Yuzu & Mei's shared secret, a Citrus RP (private)
 

Mei Aihara was tired, moreso than she usually was, though of course she did not show it. There were many tasks for the student council to complete these days. So even with the help of Himeko Momokeno and Kayo Maruta, Mei had been working long hours after school. She was not entirely unhappy, since she took such pride in the academy as her family’s legacy. Nevertheless, for the first time she could remember, Mei found her thoughts and passions divided… divided of course between her role as student council president, and her stepsister Yuzu. Impulsive and gabby, Yuzu was a silly girl… but even Mei, who had guarded her heart for so long, knew that her stepsister was also the kindest and most well-meaning girl she’d ever known, and quite beautiful too.

When the day ended, Mei and Himeko walked home together as they always did and said goodnight when they reached Mei’s apartment building. And at last Mei returned home for the evening.

“I’m home,” she announced politely. Her stepmother Ume and of course Yuzu as well awaited her. They had apparently just finished cooking dinner and were seated at the table, where three freshly steaming plates were set. As Mei approached her seat, she locked eyes with Yuzu. Her stepsister was smiling admiringly at her as usual, but Mei also caught a subtle look of concern in Yuzu’s big green eyes.

It was true. Yuzu was worried about her sister, the poor girl had been working herself to the bone for a while now. And she was forming one of her harebrained schemes to try and help Mei relax as they ate. But for now she just watched her beautiful sister sit down, obviously tuckered out from the days events, sit down and start to eat.

Ume tried to make some conversation with the girls but with Yuzu being hyper focused on her plans, she didn't really have much to say. And presumably Mei, being the quiet girl she usually was, wouldn't say too much either.

Once they finished eating and helped clean up like the good daughters they were, Yuzu headed to their room to look for some inspiration in Mei's stuff. She laid down on their bed, and starting thinking more about her sister and their relationship, but quickly blushed and shook her head as she cleared her thoughts of anything too greedy.

Yuzu’s mind was racing, Mei could see clearly when she entered the bedroom. Mei could only wonder what her stepsister was lost in thought about now. She gave Yuzu a shy smile and made herself comfortable on her side of the bed. For a long moment she sat silently, playing almost absent mindedly with Anthoniko, her teddy bear keychain.

“Yuzu?” she said finally, looking over at the pretty blonde. “I’m... I’m sorry I haven’t had much time for dating lately.” Just that much was hard for her to get out, but she blinked and continued. “Most of the student council projects should be done next week. So the following Saturday, if you’d like to do something, go somewhere...” Mei trailed off and lowered her eyes. “Anywhere, anything you like,” she added shyly.

That one little moment of playing with the bear was enough to set Yuzu's mind on a track and she smiled. Then she registered what her sister had said and shook her head "No no, its fine Mei... I understand completely. I would love something like that..." she smiled and kissed her sisters cheek "But for now... why don't we take a bath together? Like we did when we were first getting to know each other, but not as tense..." she suggested, taking Mei's hand with a smile.

Mei smiled as well as she was kissed, and gently squeezed Yuzu’s hand in her own. It was not lost on Mei that despite all the confusion, longing, and pain Yuzu had been through over the past several months, her only concern right now was Mei’s comfort and well-being. And Mei knew only too well what it was like to suppress her pain, in the persuit of something important. For a moment, Mei’s eyes welled up with tears, but she choked them back. She just wasn’t ready to let open the floodgates.

Holding Yuzu’s hand a little tighter, Mei kissed her stepsister back, softly on the lips. “I’d like that, Yuzu,” she said. “I’d really, really like that, actually.”

Yuzu smiled "Alright Mom, Mei and I are gonna take a bath now." she called out, so her mother wouldn't just walking in. She grabbed some towels, and some nighties for her sister and herself. She then smiled "Alright then Mei... lets go..." she smiled as she took Mei's hand and slowly pulled her over to the bathroom and started filling the tub up with steamy warm water, and slowly started to strip down, and tried not to peek at her sister right now, since that would possibly make Mei uncomfortable.

Mei drew in a deep breath and let the steam from the rushing water begin to relax her. She began to undress alongside her sister, and noticed Yuzu trying to avert her eyes. Once both girls were completely undressed, Mei put a hand on Yuzu's shoulder, gently turning her sister towards her so that they were facing each other directly. "You don't have to be shy, Yuzu," Mei said. "We've seen each other before, you know that." She kissed Yuzu once again, and held her sister's hand as the girls carefully climbed into the tub together.

Yuzu smiled a bit and kissed back "I know... but sometimes you still seem like you get a bit uncomfortable as I look..." she explained as she got in the tub. She relaxed as the warm water enveloped there bodies, and cuddled up with Mei, smiling. "Wow this feels nice... do you want to go ahead and suds up Mei? Or just relax before we get into that?" she suggested with a smile

Mei sighed as she nestled back in Yuzu's arms. Immersed in the hot bathwater together, Mei felt her troubles from the recent long days at a school and even the tension of the past several months since becoming sisters with Yuzu being to melt away. "Let's relax, for a few moments at least," she suggested. "I'm not uncomfortable with you seeing me, Yuzu," she went on then. "I don't think I ever was, though maybe I seemed so at times. I... I don't even know what I was feeling at times. I think you know that." Mei paused for a moment. She dipped her hand in the water and playfully let drip over Yuzu's knee, and her own. "But I do know," she said at last, "that being with you feels really, really good."

That made Yuzu smiled much bigger than she had before and she cuddled into Mei. The she nodded "Alright, and don't worry about soap, I'll wash you up like the good big sister I am..." she said teasingly and kissed Mei's cheek "I understand... well I won't be so shy next time I stare." she joked a bit "And yes of course I know... it was scary... I was worried about you even though I didn't even really know you yet... but now we're together... and everything is better." she smiled as she nuzzled Mei
