It was funny how one simple blue line could be the catalyst for an important change.

Carmen Sandiego, arguably the greatest thief of all-time, could only star at the pregnancy test in absolute shock. She had so many conflicting thoughts and emotions going through her head.

(Will we have it that Chase is the father? Or would that twist be too outlandish, even for us?)

(I was thinking a one-night stand)

She was going to be a mother. She, the leader of VILE, and it forced her to confront some very real fears.

(Fair enough. But we could always have the father turn up later, should we wish it. For now, we can have her be a single mother.)

She remembered growing up in an orphanage. While her childhood had been a relatively happy one, she would never wish that lifestyle on a child of her own. She would want to be there for her child in every sense of the word.

(Right)

With tears streaming down her face, she made an important decision then and there. There was someone she had to contact.

(One last thing; will this take place in the 90s when the franchise was at the height of its popularity, or modern day when the reboot came out?)

Carmen made her way over to her phone, and then she dialed the number of ACME headquarters.

(I don't particularly care)

"Y'ello?" came the familiar voice.

(How about we go with the 90s? That's what I'd prefer.)

Carmen sighed and said in an unusually passive voice "Hello, Chief. It's me."

(All right)

"Oh, it's you. What do you want?"

Carmen sighed again and said "I can't explain everything right now, but tell Zack and Ivy that they'll find me outside the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea in one hour. I won't resist; I'll go along with them quietly."
