So like about the Recent Fire Emblem games
 

Now I'll admit I haven't played every game. I played Blazing Sword, Scared Stones, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn and Awakening. Each of those games have some dark and sad moments but is it just me or has the series been on a streak of not allowing for happy endings? Awakening messed with your feelings sometimes in small was but Fates and Three Houses revel in kicking you in the feelings every chance they get. Not going to spoil anything naturally but just curious if anyone else has noticed this. And if so how do you feel about the recent FE games doing this?
