Right now, in their handsome home in London, Mary Darling was in a bit of a bustle.

Her loving husband, Peter Pan, went to her side. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" he asked in concern.

Wendy looked around a bit. "Well, I'm really trying to think of something to give Mummy for her birthday."

"Oh, that's right," Peter remarked with a slight chuckle. "How could I forget the date of my own mother-in-law's day of birth?"

Wendy nodded and chuckled a little.

"Perhaps I can help you search," Peter offered, "What sort of things does your mother generally like?"

"She likes a lot of things, and I always get something different."

"That is true," Peter admitted, "Last year you gave her an elaborate gown. The year before that, jewelry. The year before that, an original Van Gogh. What else might she enjoy?"

Wendy wondered and scratched her head. She was thinking about this when Mary Darling came out and scooped her up from behind.

"I've got you!" Mary declared with a grin, cradling her eldest in her arms.
