Of Snakes and Wolves
Anko was fuming she was allowed to have a genin team but she was turned down from getting the one she wanted to test... Aswell as the graduation team was troublesome in the lack of a size so she hadn't got one anyway. So as she was walking also she had stumbled on the team that has Naruto Uzumaki.. The Son of who is a mother or older sister figure to her that is gone now and she still is steaming about it … Yet when she seen the person testing them her blood metaphorically went to boiling as she has never gotten over the notion she believes Kakashi Hatake could have done more way more to save Kushina or atleast took Minato's place for the sealing atleast then Naruto would have had ONE of his parents .
Kakashi hadn't even tried to step up and aid in caring for the blonde as he might have been too young to adopt or properly care for him.. He could have done way more then he had … After all Kakashi was Minato's student and that meant he had a duty to help the Sensei's child if need be and able .. Yet even when he was old enough he clearly hadn't tried to take Naruto in or teach he needed skills .. Anko did her best too do such though for the kid when she could .. Granted that lead to things like Naruto be amazing in trap making and pranking aswell as corrupting him to the perverted way of thinking . But she atleast shown she cared on the matter Though as these thoughts went on she bore witness to Kakashi's joke Justu and so she now has a plan to use this against him .. As her being in T&I it'll be childs play to plant the evidence to make Kakashi seem like he can't be trusted around children if he doesn't do what she desires .. But she has to wait for the right time when Kakashi is alone for her to strike |
Kakashi Hatake had finished testing the three brats he’d been assigned. The last Uchiha, the kunoichi who obsessed over the Uchiha, and...his Sensei’s son, Naruto Uzumaki. His “thousand-years-of-death” jutsu was more than enough to take care of the blond, who brought back too many memories, looked too much like Minato for him to handle it without breaking down(or so he told himself as an excuse every time the prospect of adoption was ever brought up). He knew he could’ve done more, but honestly, on the day the Kyuubi attacked he hadn’t been close enough to interfere. He’d been a shell of himself back then, a recent ANBU graduate jaded by years of obedience and bloodshed, and hadn’t felt a thing after the sealing was done.
He was in no position to fight for the boy. Didn’t want that burden hanging over his shoulder, the burden of proof that he could’ve easily done much more to help out his former Sensei but never did. So he gave up and stayed far away from Naruto Uzumaki, because he felt there was no point. On this day, he was alone. Nobody else was around, as far as he could tell. Kakashi was drunk, senses filled by booze and too much work, but he didn’t stagger too much as he walked down the street, not wanting to paint a target on his back. He didn’t realize that someone was, in fact, waiting for him to be alone... |
