It was during the afterparty of the Grand Magic Games where Kagura decided to approach Erza. She was impressed by her strength shown in the tournament and wanted to spend more time with the Fairy Tail wizard. "Hi, Erza? This sounds weird, but canibeyoursister?" She blurted out.

Her head tilted lightly upon hearing how fast she spoke, Erza couldn’t quite understand, or perhaps she did and didn’t believe she did. “Kagura? Mind repeating that? My ears might have been shaken up during the battle.” She commented with a small chuckle before she noted how shaken the girl seemed. She turned to the side and waved off her comrades from Mermaid Heel “I’m guessing you could benefit from a little privacy, huh?” She asked curiously

Kagura nodded when Erza suggested they go somewhere private. "I... I'm sorry. This is a personal question." She said before going outside with Erza. "What I was trying to ask was... I wanted to see if I could be like... your sister?"

Her head tilted “Kagura... you know me and Simon were family. Of course you’re my sister, you always have been we just didn’t know it... unless you mean something more than that?” She asked curiously wondering what was on her mind at this point and what exactly she wanted.

Kagura was shocked Erza already considered her a sister. "It's just... I don't really have a lot of family I'm that close to, but you're different. I really look up to you in more ways than one, and I just want to spend more time with you." She explained, realizing how ridiculous this sounded.

It took Erza a second to take everything in, Kagura was so powerful but she looked up to Erza? It certainly was a humbling feeling to say the least. Slowly she smiled “Well... no reason we can’t hang out tonight is there? We’re at a party and there’s plenty to do but...” she looked her in the eye for a second “Don’t forget, you still owe me a rematch, aye little sis?” She commented mostly hoping to make her smile.

Kagura was starting to regret telling Erza this. It was stupid to have feelings like this. Her anxiety lowered when Erza said she wanted to spend time at the party together, and even more when she was called her "little sis". "R-Really? You mean it?"

“Of course I mean it, we can spend time together tonight like I said, and then if you really want this then I think we could spend more time together. Maybe you can come see me every now and again in Magnolia?” She asked curiously as she wrapped her up in a hug.

Kagura's eyes lit up at hearing Erza's suggestion. "That's a great idea. I don't mind traveling to Magnolia at all!" She happily hugged Erza back, unintentionally making a slight crinkling sound.

She smiled brightly “I’d be happy to offer housing anytime you want. Maybe we could even spend time doing things as big sister and little sister. I could even convert the guest bedroom into your own room since I don’t have many guests.” She commented with a sweet smile.
