His former lover and one-time performer, Viola, had been whisked away from her doomed ship by a certain purple-clad Frenchwoman.

As a result, she, her parents and nurse, now lived with him, his wife and children.

Anne had already grown quite close to Viola, even exchanging accounts of their favorite nights with Will.

They were in the midst of such a conversation, when off in the farthest corner of the room was the constant stream of farts.

"I'll be right back," Anne told her friend, excusing herself to tend to her son and daughters.

"You sure you don't want my assistance?" Viola asked.
|
"You can help if you'd like," Anne told her.
|
Viola followed Anne. The continuous sound of farts grew louder.

Hamnet, Judith, and Susanna were all clearly in need of a change by the time they finished.
