Wonderland was a vast and unpredictable world. Nothing was at it seemed, and nothing could be taken for granted. Even so, people loved, married, and had families just as they did everywhere else. This was even true in the case of the royal Hearts family.

Right now, the Queen and King were in the midst of a particularly lovely moment together.

They were both quite young, both had yet to reach the age of twenty-five, but they were hopelessly in love. "Isn't that a splendid view, dear?" said the Queen.

"Indeed it is," he replied to his wife.

She sighed and nuzzled him. She was actually a little taller than her husband, but she by no means thought of him as beneath her. She simply held him close and gazed into the distance.

"What are you thinking right now?"

"I am just looking forward to when we can start a family," she revealed.

The King beamed at that. "So do I."

She smiled and kissed him passionately. "Perhaps we could get started tonight."

He nodded, and soon followed the Queen to their bedchamber at once.
