Today was an important day. It was the day of the final briefing before the collective began its incursion to the flying city of Columbia to take it over and establish a new beachhead. Nothing was being left to chance, and it had an air of preparation that led some to be remined of the invasion of Normandy. That was certainly the model they were hoping for.

At present, Emilie Agreste was simply waiting on everyone to arrive. Some of her most recent recruits, such as the Dragonborn and his followers, Commander Shepard and her party, and Samus Aran, had actually been among the first to reach the rendezvous point.

"So, how much longer?" Samus asked.

"The debrief will begin just as soon as everyone gets here," Adrien informed the space warrior, "After that... it's headlong into the fray."

"Quite," Marinette said with a deep sigh.

"Don't worry, Mari," Serenity bade the blue-haired Frenchwoman as she and her fellow Sailor Scouts arrived.

"I know," she said with a mirthful chuckle.

Before very long, Elizabeth Radcliffe arrived alongside her husband, children, and in-laws. Naturally, she quickly became the center of attention.

They all couldn't help but stare at her.

She just sighed glumly. Franklin and Milly hugged their mother to comfort her.
