The Baby Boy With Two Mommies
 

After a long day of working in secret, Charlotte and Rose were waiting for their son to come back from school.

Jake opened the door to their house, wearing his normal clothes after the graduation ceremony, glad to be out of the overly-hot robe. His moms had told him they had a surprise for him in his room, so he went up and opened the door.

When he did, he saw that his room had been radically altered to look like, of all things, a nursery.

Everything seemed to be sailor themed, with navy blues contrasting with whites and lighter pastel blues. He didn't at all understand why it would be this way.

Little did he know, his moms, who'd adopted him at 16, wanted to get the precious memorieds that they missed out on now that he was 18 and out of high school.

Almost like a blur, Rose managed to pick up Jake with ease. "Welcome home, sweetie!" She cooed.

"M-Mom!?" Jake exclaimed as he was suddenly picked up, "Wh-What are you doing!? WHy does my room look like this!? C-Can you put me down!?!?"

Charlotte walked over to Jake, still restrained by Rose. "Son, we need to talk." She said.

"About what?" He asked, "I'm a grown man, I obey my curfew, I graduated honor roll, I got into a good school... what could there possibly be to 'wee need to talk' about?"

"That's the thing! You've worked so hard these last few years, and you're about to become an adult." Charlotte said.

"We want to do something that we never got to do with you." Rose added, still holding Jake.
