Fairy Tail: The Baby Knight and Padded Poison Dragon

Cobra, or as he went by nowadays, Erik, read a job flier as he walked down a gravel path. He was bored and it showed as he yawned and lazily shoved the paper back into his pocket. Some artifact or something that people needed Guild wizards to find.

It bored him silly. It was likely nothing important or all that dangerous, and he should know given his time in a Dark Guild. He was no stranger to black market magic.

“You should carry yourself with more pride.” Erza, Titaina said as she looked at him. “You’re a Fairy Tail Wizard and you should act like it.” Accepting him into the guild was one thing, but him going on missions meant Erza was coming with him.

Right, and he was stuck with Titania of all people.

"Kind of hard to take this seriously when I used to hunt down Dark Guilds in Crime Sorciere," he rolled his shoulders. "Scary artifacts aren't news to me. You remember who I used to be, right? Sure, this thing will be no Nirvana, but I doubt it's as bad as the townspeople are making it out to be."

She looked at him dryly before she sighed. “I suppose you wouldn’t be able to take anything seriously given how intense everything else has been. But still.” She said as she crossed her arms.

"This is a small job. There's nothing here to take seriously," he shrugged, tucking his hands into his pockets. "We find this thing, figure out what to do with it, and we'll be back home before lunch."

He yawned again, "Let's hurry this up. I'm bored stupid."

Erza sighed as she walked with him. “No matter, just don’t mess this up.” She said as she walked towards the location to complete the mission.

"I should be saying that to you, Fairy," he smirked. "Isn't this Guild notorious for messing up? The town might be destroyed just by you walking in it!" he laughed.

He pulled out the flier again, "Do we even know what this thing looks like?"

She looked at him with a blush as she side eyed him. “That is… unimportant.” She said with annoyance.

“And it’s a bracelet.” She said coldly.

"A bracelet? I'd been expecting something more.. intimidating than that. Do the locals know what it does?"

“No one does. That’s why we need to take it into custody.” She said as they approached it to take it.
