Alas, with the continent still reeling from years of bombing and other destruction and with both his parents involved in politics, sometimes they had to make sacrifices. Nevertheless, they found someone to keep their son company on the days where they were too busy.

(The idea is that Aldo meets Boosha when he is three, and she puts him back in diapers as her own way of caring for him. This goes on for a few pages, up until he is thirteen, and she even helps him come to terms with his sexual awakening. After that, we'll time jump to their reunion and keep the focus on him returning the favor)

When the boy was three, they engaged the services of a perfect candidate for a nanny.

She was a friend of Basia's before they evacuated from Warsaw, named Boosha Badowski. She took an immediate liking to the little boy, and he to her.

At this moment, Aldo was being approached and woken up by her.

"Good morning, Young Master," Boosha said, kissing his cheeks. "I have a surprise for you."

"Really? What is it?" he asked excitedly.

"Your father and mother will be busy all day, so we can spend the whole day together, doing whatever you want!" Boosha revealed.

Aldo chuckled at that, and then she proceeded to pull back the covers.
